I never had a gig catastrophe but I've had a few PA horrors occasionally, permanent feedback or a mix that stays distorted no matter what. I did once start the bassline to "A Forest" by The Cure about three tones too high, swiftly correcting it. I was expecting hair dryer treatment off the rest of the band afterwards, to instead be met by "Wow, cool intro!"

I once went to a concert where my friend, during the show, climbed up onto the speakers. Right next to the band. The security guards pushed her away.
