The double-standards, hypocrisy troupe really underplays just how freaking bizarre the Khashoggi murder is. e.g. U.S. green card holder lured into an embassy of an ally on the soil of a NATO ally, chopped into bits, and disposed of in acid. The U.S. has done and sanctioned some awful things, but this is definitely a first. Also, given the response of official Washington, I would take it as a given "journalism" was probably not Khashoggi's primary occupation. In Trump's case, it takes a certain level of credulousness to not see $$$$$$ at play. On every issue it is Trump First, America Last.
