Michael Moorcock wrote a similar story in 1966, Behold the Man. Dude goes back to see Jesus. Finds he's developmentally disabled and becomes Jesus because he's so invested in the idea of Jesus.

“This is my first foray into politics, I’m not used to being on the losing side yet. I’m not paying less than a happy meal a month to listen to you yuppie needs talk about movies! NO FUN ALLOWED! If you don’t rage against the machine every episode, how can I be cooler than my LIB friends‽ unsubscribed.” Honestly? Good fucking riddance. Im all for valid criticism, and there’s some to be had lately, but stuck up people like the ones leaving rn are alienating and irritating, they’re the last kind of person I’d want hanging around.

People keep saying this is a comedy podcast, but this movie review is anything but funny. It’s just dumb. They are movie snobs. I stumbled upon Chapo due to Michael Moore and subscribed since they gave some good criticism of Dems in regards to Bernie’s campaign. But first trashing the Star Wars prequels and then criticizing the Avengers and many other movies would be fine (I would strongly disagree, but I could understand some arguments). But no, they loved this piece of shit even though it is racist and has limited female characters. I regret subscribing to this, but I am glad I sat thru this episode to see how dumb they are.

I am so confused as to whether this is a bit or you're just a massive lib

You know you can skip them if you don't like them right? I have less than zero interest in the Star Wars franchise and have never seen the prequels so I did not listen to those shows. You can disagree with people in one field without writing off everything they have to say in other fields...
