I usually go fo cold pressed paper, which has a pretty much visible texture, but lately I thought that it annoys me on the editing the scan part of working so I wanted to try some hot pressed paper. So I've got a sheet of Fabriano Artistico 100% cotton 300 gsm hp paper and decided to test it out first. Previously, I had a... not bad, but not very pleasant either experience with hot pressed paper from Canson Arches (but I don't like their cold pressed paper too), paint was drying toooooooo fast, like I just applied paint with tons of water and it dried in seconds. It really annoys and interferes the process, when you need to fill out some big areas without marks. But I was pleasantly surprised with this paper! I really liked working with it, paint dried slowly as I prefer it too and it still has a pretty texture but not so visible. I can recommend you to try this paper!
Huuuh I'm pretty much active lately, right? This is how much stuff piled up in my head while I was busy😂 I have some more stuff to show you!

I tried cold pressed too, it's really nice!! just barely use it because I've found a cheaper alternative that works for me hehe hot pressed is really good and the texture is very little but still visible if you're a fan of textures!

Fabriano Artistico is one of my favorite watercolor papers. I’ve only used cold pressed so far, but I think it would be fun to try hot pressed 😊
