Kinda disagree: making medical school a public asset with a recruitment program based in public universities would allow working class families to send talented kids to free medical school, diversifying the profession and watering down the pull of the upper middle class. I will admit, you'd probably need a 5-10 waiver in visas to make up the gap in the interim. Likely not going to happen either way through.
