Finally, we find some hope in the potential for universal ascendance of human consciousness offered by James Cameron’s Avatar 2.

I mean, expecting some podcast hosts to be exceptionally tech litterate may be setting the bar too high. That being said, I'm not surprised that there might be a lack left leaning voices in technical fields since those fields basically spent the entire cold war scrubbing themselves of any hint of left-wing thought.
