I was a bicycle delivery guy for the last several years I lived in NYC. Every shift was 90% normal and chill, but for the other 10%, let's just say, I was very much not a good person. I did have one moment of pure triumph and that was when I slowly rolled out through a red light at a sleepy intersection in the Queens wilderness, a black & white lit up and pursued me, but I lost them by going the wrong way down a crosshatch of 1-way streets. Then I locked my bike against a lamppost, walked home, came and got it the next day. Very satisfying farewell to New York City's largest organized crime syndicate, the NY Pricks & Dicks.
