Gosh dangit Bobby, can't you see superhero movies aren't making superheros better! It's making movies worse! The endpoint of AI is on demand, completely personalized and atomized, entertainment to whatever prompt you can give it. Simply ask the benevolent machine - "Show me Superman in prison fighting off the guys from Oz, but he has daddy issues." - and while it won't be anything approaching art, it will give the seals something to clap at. Another movie in the Chapo cannon, unfortunately, Ready Player One, this is an annoying plot point. Prophetic archon Steven Spielberg saw what that novel was. The protagonist uses VR to insert themselves into the movie War Games as Ferris Bueller and recite the lines 1980s movie War Games in order to progress or whatever, but insinuates that this is the only way people enjoy movies anymore. The only entertainment was regurgitated relics of the past, and the entire country was like Will's fellow movie goer.
