Sorry but will and felix sound really stupid and uninformed on the ban. The problem with tiktok isn’t spying on random ass Americans- v dumb take. If you look at douyin in china it’s heavy censored to minimize political engagement and organization, maximize malaise. You can see it in how milk toast douyin is and conversely when taiwan sovereignty and Uyghur reprogramming is censored even in US tiktok. For the US though, they don’t give a fuck. The ban is really an attempt to getting ahead of 2024 election misinfo which is gonna be off the charts goofy.
