ahahah it's a common thing between Russian people, there's a lot of people who hear someone talking with Russian accent and they think that they should shut up and not talk anymore. this is what happened to me a few years ago, I was getting a ton of comments like that and stopped talking at all, it was hard for me to even talk with people on a street or in a shop. lately I started to take English classes to make myself be able to talk again and now it's better (so I was able to talk and film a video and edit it) but I'm still hella scared that it would happen again...
