Curtis Yarvin interviews are always so cringe. It doesn’t help the interviewer also asks something stupid like “are you racist” but his responses are always borderline insane and explains perfectly why Musk and Grimed were such big fans of his. “Well as a real life Bene Gesserit I can tell you that the fact you think racism exists proves monarchies are the only viable form of government.”

@JoyceCarolOates: over-all takeaway from the Curtis Yarvin profile is that there must be millions of smart-aleck show-offy kids who annoy their teachers & go on to annoy other adults through their lives with their "contrarian" pose that hardens to a carapace over their faces; until, as adults, they still harbor a delusion that, if there is a king, or a fűhrer, he'd be impressed with the guy's motor mouth & appoint him to his cabinet rather than deleting him with a negligent swipe of his wrist as Stalin did routinely.

Guys I don't care how good intentioned Zohran is , if he gets elected, his gesturing towards the left is going to end. You guys can give democrats critical support when they're running for office but acting like this guy is going to be substantially different from any other democrat is a pipe dream. You all constantly talk about how much you hate the democratic party but it doesn't really seem like it. If you really hated the Democrats and wanted to see the party done away with, you wouldn't be giving democratic politicians all of this positive coverage and you wouldn't constantly talking about what the party could do to be popular, you would be advocating for. If you really hated the democrats you would be advocating for movements trying to build a working class party, not a capitalist 3rd party but an actual working class party.

The embarrassing thing is Yarvin’s model for politics isn’t even Lord of the Rings, it’s Warhammer Fantasy. He doesn’t even live up to that though, the dark elves fucked the God of drugs and BDSM into existence. Gonna take more than a leather jacket and a white shirt to pull that off.
