Luther Strange very publicly traded not prosecuting Gov Bentley on corruption charges for the senate seat. The corruption was overstated; he was fucking his secretary. Strange argued that her salary was therefor embezzled state funds. So everyone in Alabama saw Bentley resign and do community service doing free dermatology screenings, and Strange become senator
