I've always imagined if someone is wearing that pendant for a while then the magic starts changing the body for good. Imagine if Star is able to do her thing without the pendant on

I always wondered what would happen if you took it off with someone already in place deep inside. My best guess was that they’d still be okay since your body can’t digest something that big that fast even if it tried, but they’d suddenly be in much tighter accommodations and can’t move around much if at all.
