In my opinion naruto is great story but some part is have good and bad about …. Ahhhh like side quest in game, it make you enjoy more story deeper or side story and u can more understanding in the character deeper but if that charac u not like or something other u will boring about game side quest.

If you're liking it now, you'll love a lot of the arcs coming up. And not exaggerating, but the levels of hype in Shippuden I rate at least twice as high as where you are at now - and maintains the hype for like minimum 50 straight episodes lol, my personal opinion. The entire series is great!
