That is very much true. We are not saying it because we are greedy (well we are but not just because of that :D ) but it is best to watch those together. And I think watching the opening at 142 is better imo

Ah one of the best fights in anime history. :) But don't worry Shippuden is not gonna let up and gonna continue being epic all the way through :) I think you shouldn't watch the opening yet and wait until 142 and watch it there. Also just a heads up 143 is the last canon ep and after that there's a filler arc from 144-151 that you should skip and resume watching from 152. From ep 154 you're gonna get a new opening which you must skip because it contains enormous spoilers. Take care and get better!
