I tried to talk to a white girl in high school and she asked me “What kind of black are you” and I knew then the other side wasn’t for me. Crazy thing is she had a black bestfriend which is nuts because I thought she would be more culturally competent because of that but I guess not.

I think it goes both ways. It's okay to have a preference of race but not okay since that would mean you AUTOMATICALLY disfavor other races lmao. Like for example, I have preference for natural hair for women. Doesn't mean I hate wigs or dislike braids.
