I don’t really care for the album. There is only two songs on there that I like. In pieces and the song with Chris brown. That is all. This was a real let down for me because I love Chloe.

Heart On My Sleeve has elements of her debut and her EP all into one cohesive project. It flows so well when you listen in order. It wasn’t really made to be a singles album unlike her debut. It’s by far my favorite project of hers. It was my most played album last year and so far my most played this year

I haven’t gotten around to that album yet but Ella Mais debut was fire. Sauce. Cheap Shot. Shot Clock. Nah had so many fire tracks. Wasn’t like super cohesive but it’s a debute album you wanna show what you can do and it was a really fun album. Her EP’s are fire. My favorite from her sound wise is Don’t Want You, Switch Side and breakfast in bed but I don’t see R&B artists using that sound anymore unfortunately. Not even Ella uses that sound anymore. May have been just the sound of the time. But from what I heard here Chloe’s is kinda missing a sound at all 😭😂. Putting her potential on a pedestal probably added to this ngl

That's a good point. With Jhene's music, she has a soft voice so the whole vibe is hypnotic and soothing. But with a stronger voice, it just comes off as boring. Chloe has many issues with her music, but this is definitely one of them lol

for me, chloes album flopped i liked one song on the whole album. i believe she does all them local runs and shit but sings nothing. when you actually go back to the lyrics shes not saying nothing. they dont stick at all. the production is bad. seeing as beyonce is her mentor i do see her influence in "body do" but no where else lmao

I think Chloe herself mentioned that it's expensive getting help, which is why she produced her own music so much, which makes sense. With that being said, this album felt like a mashup of filler songs where half of them were the same song with a different beat. Personally, I think this style of R&B with the cheating boyfriend/girlfriend/hood crossover is weak. She definitely should have went the R&B/pop mix route if this was the route she wanted to take, ESPECIALLY since it's her debut album and she needed buzz. I personally like Worried the best, and felt that should have been one of her slowest songs on the album. To keep it somewhat short, because I have a lot to say lol, She should have upped the tempo, talk more about love and not lust (I have too much to say about this), and left the 808s to the rappers.

It’s so obvious she needs to work with other producers. Have Mercy and now Worried (clear album standout) are my two favorite songs by her. You can actually hear the potential and that she has something special. When she produces her voice almost blends in with the track…. I hope she branches out because there are moments when you hear what it could of been smh

This album is a grower for me. Would not put it pass Okay. It’s an okay album. My fav song on the album is Body Do. Sad that songs are too short specially the ones that had potential to be good. Lyrics were okay. She gave vocals. Not fan of the production in some of the songs, couldn’t understand what she was saying.

It was absolutely personal and vulnerable so I get why you loved that. She was super raw on this album, even when it didn't paint her in the best light lol so I totally commend her for that. Glad she has some people who like this project 😂

I really loved this album lmaoo😂❤️ she touched me with every song especially when she got more raw and vulnerable bec she kept giving these pop records last year but she changed direction to a more personal rout so I personally love it but I can definitely see how this isn't your cup of tea at all. Yeah this album was missing that “fun” element forsure, I think she would be successful in that lane. But even if you’re gonna make heartbreak music, it needs to be a lot more interesting and sonically pleasing like Summer Walker’s music…or soulful like Jazmine Sullivan’s music in order for people to feel it…but a lot of her songs are missing all those elements and they just fall flat imo. Additionally this album has no hits at all lol she gotta go back to the drawing board

I don't know what it is bruh, for me it's either the lyrics are too corny or I don't like the production and sometimes just her delivery. The only one I could potentially like was Make it Look Easy just because of how vulnerable she was.
