I think this song really needs some more vocal layering or something. I was expecting the last chorus to have some pretty background vocals (kinda like Have Mercy by Chlöe if you’ve heard that one) but it never really went anywhere. Also why does the beat never change?? If you just keep skipping through the song it sounds the exact same every time… really holding out hope for this album but I’m struggling 😫

I feel like something is just missing from the song and I can’t put my finger on it. Like it has the potential to be good but it’s missing something. Maybe it needs a stronger hook/chorus, maybe it needs more vocal layering, her vocals are not interesting enough to carry the song which just sounds like a run on sentence. The beat/production didn’t hit hard enough. Whatever it is I just can’t get into the songs and I listened to it like 5 times
