Yeah this came off pretty harsh lmaoo.. Dee said in the beginning that she doesn't typically listen to country BUT she likes Shaboozey's album a lot, and I've watched several reactions where she does enjoy pop songs as well, so clearly she is open to new genres.. I personally enjoy Sabrina's music but these two songs weren't my favorite either. And I noticed that usually when Dee doesn't like a song she'll say "it's not for me" or "I don't think I'd like to listen again." She doesn't say that the songs are bad. Everyone has different tastes and opinions and we all consume music differently. I generally listen to rap, r&b, rock, and alternative but there are many pop songs that I like and many pop songs that I don't like. But I still give them a listen because I'm open.

I’m not big into pop these days, but I REALLY have been liking her music. I think she makes really fun and creative stuff, she’s really mastered this playful persona in her music. Espresso has been my shit, and I really liked her song “nonsense”. Her last album was pretty decent overall too. I like the sound of please x3, she sings with such a playful fun rhythm and the country influence really works for me. And yeah her face is aaaaalways beat, is always healthy and thriving, like I just feel like she has her persona/aesthetic DOWN.

This is harsh for no reason... Dee is free to listen to whatever she wants regardless of her predispositions to the genre or sound. There's always room to explore and see how your taste can evolve. And so you should'nt police what she decides to listen to. Plus she's definitely NOT one-dimensional nor basic. She's just a person with a different taste than you. Nothing wrong with that. On that whole Beyonce album she saved a ton of songs and Beyonce's music is as eclectic and experimental as music can get. Cowboy Carter was like ten different genres in one.

i really like espresso. funny enough when it came out and everybody (on twitter at least) was on an uproar about the song, i didn't really like it, but after finally giving it a chance it grew on me. her vocals are very reminiscing of Ariana Grande's. their pop is very similar to me, it's like this smooth pop which me not being a fan of pop can enjoy.
