Lmaooo because they saw what I went through! 😂 but tbh, a request and a recommendation aren’t too different in my eyes. I’m only reacting to things I’m interested in over here, and if I’m interested in an album or song or performance, I’m gonna know that it dropped lol. Also it’s easy to confuse the difference between requesting and recommending so I’d rather people not do it at all. I just want this to be a chill environment where we’re discussing shared interests vs. the comments just being filled with a whole bunch of “recommendations”. I have people throwing requests and suggestions at me on YouTube, I don’t want that over here lol just want the dynamic to be conversational

Yes! Lol I did like those, so there are definitely exceptions. I will say I liked Moment For Life a lot more because she was primarily rapping and her verses were good. Also that song grew on me a lot because it was really popular and I would hear it everywhere. I had to just skim through Save Me to recall what the verses were like. I did think the chorus was catchy and sounded good but I def didn’t play that song a lot at all

Question: what if we just want to mention something as a suggestion? I’ve had times when a new song has been out or something that I think would fit the vibe with what’s going on with the patreon and been unsure of How to even let you know about the song. Are you ”allowed” to like mention a new song saying ”hey, X just released a new song with Y, don’t know if you’ve heard, but you should check it out” without it counting as trying to ”recommend”, or should we just not bother? Sometimes I feel like people comment just as a suggestion like they would on YT, but because of what has happened here before people be ATTACKING them, like niggas is gettin dragged and I be feelin bad lowkey😂
