You arent on her team so you cant speak for them. No artist once there album to do worst then the one before it. It was a good album to YOU. You can have good music but it doesn’t matter if no ones listening. And one song went number one and only one other song went over top 20 with a # 18 w/ agora hills off the entire album. Lbs

Yeah but my way of seeing it the fact that her and her team most likely don’t give af about album sales and at the end of the day there was still 2 songs who made it to the top and to the very top as well…. Honestly watching Dee visibly do her own interpretation of Doja's songs as she reads the lyric verses is pretty funny, it's giving very much so "I'm holding a concert in my head & I am serving you a performance of a lifetime kitty bitches" lol🤭

Doja had me, then lost me. After a few songs it gave me a repetitive snap your fingers type of feeling and that’s not what I’m trying to hear all throughout the album. Overall the album was a 7/10 the songs in the beginning were good but weren’t heavy hitters. And this whole chip on her shoulder act is all for the direction of the album. She’s capitalizing of her antics and using it as an era so that her album will have an overall direction and meaning. And I wouldn’t say her direction is brilliant but it’s creative ig.

I definitely thought this as well! The second half seemed much too different from the first, and it just reminded me of A and B sides of CDs once I realized what it was. Although it's in theme, I definitely think she should do Agora Hills with her usual rapping voice as a deluxe addition. That would be lit, because while I like it, that rapping at the beginning had my head spinning like Crash Bandicoot, 🤣🤣.

Yeah when I listen to albums on my own, I usually only listen to a few songs at a time just to give myself time to digest the tracks and not grow tired of the artist lol so I can totally understand this perspective. So yeah I think you should give it another chance but listen in small doses lol

Its feels like a Side A and B. I feel like if the deluxe has all lit songs it will truly pull this album completely together. I don’t understand why she previewed “shots” and didn’t release it…. But apparently agoria hills is the album shift she said she made half the music in the states and then made the other half in 10 days while on vacation

Personally, I thought the album was boring. It was hard for me to connect with this album in this entirety wheb some of the songs kind of felt like they were bouncing off of each other. But that’s usually how I feel about Doja Cat albums… I tend to like her songs more individually and not more so as a body of work. I think I have to give each song a chance on different days, I tried listening to it all at once and it’s not connecting. She’s very diverse but sometimes the sounds are so similar, giving a very poetry type vibe but I don’t want to listen to that all the way through. Which would make me give a very biased judgment.

wet kittykat area is growing on me, thought the chorus was a bit off but it then grew on me. The beat is really dope also. Gun is also something I feel like growing on me. The chorus was was kinda tiring but I feel it will get less tiring. Yh this album is annoying to me. Idk why I just don’t like her rap voice. It makes me think she has a sore throat. But I did enjoy two of those songs. Loved hearing your opinions ❤️

While the demon goofiness was unnecessary, I feel Doja effectively utilizes her anger in her music considering she made a solid rap album with no features in response to people criticizing her rapping ability. She had me scared at first because I never knew her to really have bars, but solid project, awesome reaction! I already knew what songs you weren't gonna like based on the pitches she was hitting in a few, 🤣.

Idk I kinda expected a bit more of PTTR and Demons Doja on this album. Cause after about the first 7 tracks it slowed down too much for me, which made the album feel way longer than it actually was. Really enjoyed your reaction though! <3
