I feel like Taylor Swift lyrically the best out of all the pop girlies which is what carries her she is honestly a poet compared to some of these pop stars like her pen is pressure and I get it. Im black woman too and for a while I never got Taylor hype tell I just listened to one album on a whim one sunday then slowly more was in my spotify algorithm and now I can say I actually listen to her daily. She hits real good in my peaceful and sleeping playlists. I also wrote this cause I saw a comment saying Taylor music is inescapable and just wanted give my opinion on why she is so successful

The choreography reminded me of the second episode of "The Idol" when she's doing multiple takes to make the music video right. That combined with the blonde hair made me think of that. When you said you'd never listen to it, I thought to me myself "Same". A few months ago when you were doing the "guess the artists songs" Challenge you said that you're not gonna do the Taylor Swift one. I was like "Damm." Because I get it, I used to be annoyed when she used to win mad awards at award shows too and be like "WTF who listens to Taylor Swift?" Then, for some reason, out of know where it hit me that I actually know a lot of her songs. My date got mad at me for saying that Beyoncé is overrated and I know more Taylor Swift songs than Beyoncé songs. Me and my date are both black, a random Chinese woman chimed in and said "This date was going well up until he said that". The whole bar was looking at me like I was crazy. I'm familiar with Taylor Swift songs because I feel like I can't escape them, and they are low-key very catchy. All that to say, Taylor Swift songs are more rememberable then this specific Ariana Grande song.

Ariana deactivated her Twitter 2 years ago due to the on-going bullying, I believe. She was very active on there, but she couldn’t handle all the negativity. As far as the song goes, the chorus is what I like the most.
