I don't listen to country either. But someone said on instagram that This whole "Renaissance" album thing is doing the genres that was orignally from black peopl. House, Country, and Rock. Act 1 was House, Act 2 is Country, and Act 3 might me rock. Idk how trrue this is or the souce of where they got that information. But thats pretty cool if this is true.

I so appreciate Dee because we all already knew country isn’t her favorite thing, but she’s always so open-minded and honest about her feelings. I’m really glad she has a slight affinity for 16 CARRIAGES though. It’a a really amazing song, and I think she’ll relate to it a bit. I remember her video about how she takes on a lot, so a break is needed from time to time, and I think 16 CARRIAGES really embodies that feeling. Thanks, Dee!

Texas hold em was trash imo but 16 carriages has been steadily creeping up on me. That vocal melody is so catchy and I think her vocals are so gorgeous without being flashy, started getting emotional when I played it with headphones. Lyrics could have been a little deeper, I feel like they hint at depth but don’t really go there. Not a huge country fan but I think it’s such an interesting genre for black artists to explore due to its history and if B is gonna do anything, she’s gonna deliver on well thought out concept so I’m kinda excited for a Beyoncé cuntry album
