The only two hip-hop/r&b girls Shakira had a collab with I'm pretty sure is Rihanna and Beyonce... two absolute queens, so Cardi has some good audience getting a Shakira feature. Hopefully it has a lot of spanish in it bc we need more of that, because it was the only thing lacking in Bongos. A Kali Uchis and even Bad Bunny features would be absolutely insane too with some spanish verses.

it was ok but despite knowing this just her regular voice but there’s something extra smoker about how she sounds…..I just don’t feel like this is something I want to hear in my ears. I need a complete song with choruses from her to make up for her rapping voice.

It has pretty good lyrics, given Cardi is not the best lyricist. But I still would never listen to this again; it just didn't really draw me in. Personally, I liked bongos better. But also, when it comes to female rap and technically rap in general, I like dance / club songs like Up (by Cardi) and Everybody (by Nicki and Uzi), so that may be another reason I didn't like it.

Her first album is really good because it was in the beginning of her career and i feel like now whatever she releases is just to clap back at other people and the haters and all of that! And her flow for me is just boring, its the same the whole song there's no dynamic and even if the lyrics aren't that good that dynamic would help the song a lot.

The video is giving early 2000s “future” vibes. It’s like what we imagined 2024 would be like back in 2001 lol. I am ready for the album, I think it would be cool if she dropped without a date. I feel like when artists give us a date we’re always let down. The album is usually underwhelming. But I have hopes that Cardi and hopefully Megan will pull us out of this female rap drought.
