I'm not going lie the song Gorgeous should of had Blackpink Lisa. That beat and sound is right in her lane. Could of been an easy hit song overseas if she picked that feature.

her worst songwriting ever sadly 😭 even smile had better lyrics. the hooks are okay but it feels tired atp, the fact that she hasn't been able to expand her sound at all is shocking to me, you'd never see something like this from beyonce, gaga, madonna, mariah etc.. artists that make sure their MUSIC is as good as their social media promotion and looks 🤷‍♂️ no offense i like a lot of katy songs but this is a fail for me

I couldn’t get into this album at all. I don’t like her singing at all, it’s just I felt like her singing was lazy, but maybe it’s just her music. Haha as you SHOULD! I'm also a sucker for catchy songs and don't mind listening to disposable music every now and then. Because I feel as though genuine disappointment only comes when you have expectations. And since I've known for a while that Katy is no longer an artist. I didn't have any hopes or expectations for this album. To me, the mediocrity wasn't surprising. It's been a long time coming...

She's such a veteran in this space so it was a bit surprising that this album lacked substance and innovation so heavily. But all that aside, I'm a sucker for catchy songs, so I'm now enjoying this album more than I thought I would 😂

I do feel like some people are making it seem like the worst album ever which idk about that but it is pretty average as a whole😂

Katy is stuck in a creative limbo. It seems she wants to rehash the style of music that made her famous while also wanting to make something trendy and current. This dichotomy makes the album fall flat and have no conceptual focus or artistic vision. Some of the songs are catchy but they're faceless and nondescript. I can imagine any other pop star singing them. You'd never see Ariana Grande or Beyonce releasing an album like this. They have a firm grasp over their vision and have a story to tell. Katy doesn't.

Yes she’s a seasoned artist but unfortunately hasn’t been able to enhance her sound whatsoever. I kind of gave up on her a while ago but gave her another chance. She’s stuck in the 2010s and someone needs to pull her out.

My issue with Katy is that she feels like she is 5 years too late. The songs are good enough but the potential outweighs the end product. I agree with Dee, I feel like Katy was focusing on the visuals instead of the music. Some songs felt something missing. But my take is people is not gonna like everything on a album. I think, as I feel like artists are scared to evolve because they try to hold onto the nostalgia of their past albums. Just like Nicki with her new album I want to hear more rap songs like FTCU, Red Ruby, etc I want her to make PF3 more mature

Very fair review Dee. Whoever was in charge of this album rollout should be fired because this album turned out to be solid. I agree, nothing is a classic but this is def her best album since PRISM. I love Dance/Pop so each and every one of these tracks except for WW was a thumbs up. I don’t believe in a skip free album but I pressed play and was shocked when it looped back to track 1: a seamless experience. To the (Meta)critics, in the words of the late great Whitney, “Kiss my ASS!”

A lot of the album sounded very dated to me. There were some catchy melodies here and there but the lyrics were very basic, very early-mid 2010's sounding album imo

I heard this last night and my takeaway is that its too safe. She needs more dynamic production and more engaging lyrics. This wouldve been good album in 2016 tho, I can admit that
