LOL I love Billie but I had to skip through parts of her live performances. I prefer her recorded songs better than the live versions because she's more quite when she sings live and doesn't belt live either ( which is fine it's her choice) and I think it's because she's more nervous live that she might mess up when she's louder or belts. But I think her songs def sound better with the recorded versions.

Same! The few I watched were years ago during Covid so there was never an audience and I much prefer it that way. It felt a lot more intimate and authentic. Even Billie admitted she was nervous with the audience being there so it definitely can throw the artists off a bit, I think they should get rid of them lol

Everytime I hear the song “I love you” I just burst into tears 😂 but you ain’t ever gonna catch me willingly listening to it but if it comes on I’m stopped dead in my tracks. I gotta re fall in love with birds of a feather cause I played it out too much chile. But yes Dee, tiny desk didn’t really have an audience well they had no audience if I recall from when they started but they started to include it over the years so they can enhance the energy and atmosphere to have it more concert like. I prefer it without the audience and just have the artist speak directly to the camera when they’re finishing singing and just jump to the next song …

Billie definitely has been challenging herself more vocally recently! She’s always said she’s not a belter or a big vocal singer but she’s been doing more belts, especially in the new album! She did in the greatest, birds of a feather, and on an older song for a James Bond movie called “No time to die” which was in 2020, and that was one of the first times we’ve really heard her belt! Also the crazy thing is, her shows are HYPE ASF😭 which you wouldn’t expect but there’s so much energy at her shows and she’s such an energetic performer lmao, she used to mosh pits and shi in her earlier days at festivals and stuff lol

OMG this was so unexpected! 😭🫶🏾 The album is so good🤌🏾 And I love her voice so much! It’s so calming to listen to 🙂↕️ She’s coming to dominate the Grammy’s once again and I’m not mad at it! Billie fans getting fed recently!🙏🏾 I was hoping she would do Chihiro, tho I knew she wouldn’t 😫 that’s my favorite off the album! Yea this was a more calm & slower version of “The Greatest” in the original there’s a big lead up and drop which I love! Seeing them perform “I love you” together gets me everytime 🥲 it’s definitely really slow and not for everyone lol I love when they perform it but it’s not one of the ones I run back to from her debut album!
