Hey Dee! Giorgio Moroder did almost all of the production for Donna Summer during the disco era! He produced I Feel Love, Bad Girls and Hot Stuff to name a few! Also did some production for Irene Cara and others during that era. Definitely a legend in the industry :) ngl the song didnt do it for me either but his past stuff is really where he was at his peak

Abel definitely went out with a bang on this album. It has about everything you want from all of his albums while also playing onto the new trilogy theme. The production was just so good and this is definitely his best album when it comes to the content. A lot of heartfelt moments and the title track really made me cry lol. This is the last album under The Weeknd moniker and Im happy that he went all out for this album. Also Dee, if you listen at the end of the title track, that sound at the end transitions to the first song he has ever publicly released, which is High For This. Shoutout to Dee as always. 😊

i usually listen to long albums in two parts lol, by the end i don’t like any of the later songs bc i get irritated 😭 but then on a relisten im like wait this is really good on its own and not after 15 songs. Especially weeknd bc he has loooooooooong songs. I also usually feel differently after blasting it in the car bc it’s a whole other experience. I liked this album tho, and it’s his last as weeknd so i’m wondering what his next direction will be.
