Dee Shanell
Thank you, Josh! Thanks for being here and supporting, appreciate you!
Josh
Here to give gratitude to Dee for putting up with us and listening to these albums all at once even though she likes to take them at bits and pieces 🙌 cool content creator points!
Kiese JB
I think I just really appreciate her music from the rapping, singing, beat ,word play, the way she put the songs in a particular order etc etc it be literally Art. I like all the songs except stranger and my top 5 is made up, happy, one more time, ahh man, cards
BruhItsRodrick
One thing I am happy about with her & this project is breaking history with actually being the only writer credit on her entire project. I saw that news recently.. it’s the first for a female rapper👀
BruhItsRodrick
Nah this album hurt me especially with some of the dope rap verses… definitely gon have to relisten to like 2 songs a week or something. I’m just baffled 😩😩it’s like 3 I liked immediately, but even hearing the full version of some of the ones she teased, still felt lackluster.. siiiigh
BruhItsRodrick
Riiight😭😭😭 🙏🏾word to SOS 🪦🌸
zy
omg dee enjoying a sza verse🥹❤️🩹
LoriL3ve
I listened to this album about 3 more times and it's still deeply dreadful. R.I.P to the Doja we loved
LoriL3ve
She released an album to the masses that's not meant for the...masses? The cope is crazy 😭 that makes no sense, love. I'm not sure what makes this sound so "tasteful" either, but I digress
Eli
Lol to me its just a tasteful album, its not meant to be for the masses and thats okay. I enjoyed it thoroughly and it is something that will be looked at as a prime example on how to take a concept and sonically do it justice. Im proud of her on that aspect and the fact that she 100% wrote the whole thing. But enjoyable reaction nonetheless.
August
I like the writing a lot on the project and I think there’s some solid tracks I’d return to with some interesting production throughout even if it’s not fully the sound for me,but after a certain point it does become too repetitive for me by the later half of the album in the production. I think the biggest issue for me is not enough upbeat moments, stale instrumental choices at times, and the choruses weren’t as strong on these tracks compared to the verses
Lunarsnow
This was AWFUL. I got through half of this video just because of you but after that I couldn't take more of this album. The whispery vocals made this SO annoying to listen to and she kept it up jesus. Honestly respect to you Dee for even finishing this album haha.
Breezey breeze
I’m sorry this ain’t hitting either I’m so disappointed I expected atleast a lil better from Doja compared to abuela B but it’s really not hitting at all - but I guess Doja herself right before release said this was a throwaway project too and that the music was trash so I guess I can’t blame her😭😭😭 I’m not even a heavy Barb like that or nothing but like Nicki just comes harder and better for me personally like that crown is safe mother don’t need to worry bout nothing 🎀🤍😭 loved the reaction Dee - thank you for blessing us with these longer reactions back to back every week you deserve the praise for all the hard work you put out 💯🤍
Noah Kosta
IMO I loved the album, you gooo Doja ❤️❤️❤️🤩
Noah Kosta
Also I can’t with the “Right” 😂😂😂
Noah Kosta
Love you Dee 🫶🫶
LoriL3ve
Probably why Nicki is spazzing out on X right now 👀
Hugo
This was awful… why is she making 80s music
Aaron Boone
And it shows…
Aaron Boone
Cardi B ate up all your favs. Periodt. LOL
Mikey
for me personally the 80s trend in music went on for SO long it's kind of stale atp to me. wish she went in a different direction, but hey if she likes it I love that for her. love her as an artist but it's a no for me miss doja kitty
Dee Shanell
Very valid, well said!
Dee Shanell
😭
𝔅𝔞𝔪𝔟𝔦
lol I’m dead, Dee clarifying that she moves cus she in the chair all day makes sense cus I’m like shocked when she’s like, “um I hate it.” But I though she was vibing the whole time 😂
annoyedsquire
My main issue with this album is that if you’re going to revisit a sound I’ve already heard (like 80s pop) you need to bring something fresh and groundbreaking to really capture me. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened here. Instead, the album just made me want to go back and listen to Donna Summer’s Bad Girls, which does this style far better (it's the blueprint). So, it’s a no for me. That said, I can see this resonating with listeners who haven’t experienced the stronger, original version of this sound until they listen to the blueprint
Dee Shanell
Demonic shenanigans 😭 glad you enjoyed the album though along with the reaction :)
Dee Shanell
Yeah Take Me Dancing is growing on me, just played it and it’s decent
Dee Shanell
Yeah good point, that’s what I was hoping for. Like how Beyoncé did with country. It was country with a Beyoncé twist, so I was kinda expecting something like that
Dee Shanell
Lol I’m glad you enjoyed the reaction still!
Dee Shanell
Cardi b year for the win 😭
Dee Shanell
“Mind your business, that’s beside the point” 😭😭 but yeah agreed, her other albums are far superior imo
Dee Shanell
I don’t see how you’re confused by a preference. It’s not a hard concept to grasp. You may think something is basic, doesn’t mean I do. Something can also be basic but still be annoying
Elisah
The production could be so basic at times and dee would call it annoying, I be confused lol
Riffmaster78
I’m nervous that Doja hit her prime with Hot pink and planet her :(
Angel 💕
I agree this album was a hard mother fuckin NOOOO!!! NO NO NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT. I did keep 7/15 songs but mind your business thats beside the point 😂. but out of the many albums that she has this one was the worst. Amala, Planet Her, Scarlet, even Hot Pink was better than whatever this is, considering those albums, I had high expectations thinking it was gonna be some heat, but let's just say the smoke alarm went off and It is overcooked and burnt to a crisp.
Dom V
Yeah after listening to this album its a hard pass for me. What happen DOJA!!! 😔 such a massive change from my favorite scarlet. I guess its a cardi b year for me 😂 i started out with only liking three songs from cardi but as I listened to this in my car its been increased to 8. Really good album give it a chance yall.
Scar
With this album it’s either you completely hate it or you absolutely love it and there’s no in between. However the vibe of the album is very sexy in a classy way and Doja dived too deep into the whole 80s especially towards the end of it and became similar but there are some songs there like cards, acts of service, take me dancing and listen that saved the album for me but overall it’s Doja worst album by far like if it wasn’t for Doja nobody would be listening to this shit respectfully
Milkyway
Usually with album drops I listen to them on my own and then watch your reactions. But I knew from the singles that I wasn’t gonna like this album, so I didn’t listen to it on my own and instead listened with you because it’s more entertaining lol. I wasn’t about to sit through a trash ass album and then watch a reaction with that same trash music lol. I enjoyed watching this video, but the music frustrated me, and if it weren’t for this video, I probably never would have known what this album sounded like lol.
trey444u
Same😂
Milkyway
I wish she continued with the scarlet vibe she was doing
Meli
I hope Doja was trolling with that Lion King song. I hope she was trolling with this whole thing😩😭
Meli
I was really struggling to listen to this on my own. This is a hard no for me. The 80’s sound is too on the nose for me…😩 it doesn’t seem like a modern implementation of the 80’s, rather sounds like a literal costume
Kaye
I usually can tolerate and in some cases can really enjoy an 80s/retro album but...this Doja one feels lackluster. However I don't mind if the Take Me Dancing comes on to clean up and dance to around the house.
Dee Shanell
😂😂 wait this took me back, because my professors used to require that too lmao my responses would be so generic because I didn’t know what to say 😭 but thanks so much for joining the community and participating in the discussion! I love hearing you guys’ thoughts and interacting with yall over here 🤗 much love
Trey
Hey Dee, thank you for reacting to Vie despite you knowing there was a chance you wasn't gonna fw it bc of the 80s sound 😭 Definitely worth being a patron!! I also want to try being more active in the comment section, maybe I'll do what I used to do for college course discussion boards by making a post and responding to two other patrons lmaooo
Dee Shanell
Right, she could deadass dominate the rap industry if she wanted to. But these artists gotta chase the bag I guess 🤷🏽♀️ pop definitely pays more
Dee Shanell
Right, I can’t be sitting still for too long, I gotta move around a bit lol that’s also why I talk with my hands so much while recording
Dee Shanell
Agreed!
Dee Shanell
Thankss 💕
Dee Shanell
Lmao it was pissing me off too towards the end of
Dee Shanell
“Yeah no” 😭😭 but yeah I think this album might’ve been easier to digest if she eased into this era. Just popping up outta no where attacking us with this 80s sound was a bold choice lol
Dee Shanell
Plague lmaoo
Dee Shanell
Not McDonald’s lmaoo
Dee Shanell
That’s what it is!! I kept trying to name the jingle 😂😂 sis was high watching Simba and got inspired lol
Dee Shanell
Girl yes, literally me towards the end of this album 😭
Dee Shanell
Nah deadass, 2025 is filled with surprises lmao
Dee Shanell
Veryyyy interesting that people are saying there are no skips on this lol different strokes for different folks though
Dee Shanell
That saxophone was pissin me off so bad 😂 but yes, well said!
Dee Shanell
This description is frying me lmao so very accurate though
Dee Shanell
💕💕
Dee Shanell
She been getting me through my workouts with ease this week! Love her for that lol
Dee Shanell
Damn 😭
Dee Shanell

Dee Shanell
Aw that’s cute
Dee Shanell
Heyyy boo, thanks for coming over to support 🤗 much love
Dee Shanell
😭
Dymanni Lovell
I knew it wouldn’t be for you but personally i really like it and it grows on me more and more with each listen as someone who loves pop music and doja
Julio Iglesias
She wrote the entire album alone so respect for that….at least
lil baby walter
disappointed. scarlet was so good imo and doja is quite literally one of the best female rappers of this current generation. definitely wasted talent on this album.
angelito
i knew this wouldn't be your cup of tea, at least on your initial listen 😭 i actually love it a lot, but it's because i love 80s music and 80s vibes overall, and i also LOVED her raps! she was rapping her ass off and people really need to pay more attention to her skills in lyricism, wordplay, bars and comedic approach. and i also love how she didn't half-assed it. she said "if we're gonna do the 80s vibes, we're gonna do it right" just like she did with her demonic shenanigans or her alien vibe for planet her. loved the reaction and loved the fact that you were open minded to it!!
Darius Young
This album was ok I only saved 6 songs and I have listen to it again and I still think it’s ok. Scarlet was her best album I still listen to the songs on Scarlet two years later, it’s so good.
Ren
I hated this album. time to see what you thought about it, but I think I already might know 💀
Adam Boudarga
Happy is my favorite song too lol, "Brise mon cœur encore ce soir" part was very catchy with her background singing, i don’t like when she does the whiny singing it’s a little bit annoying
ra
IM FUCKIN LAUGHING AT YOU SAYING YOU HATE THE ALBUM😂😂 honestly she sounds good song to song for the 80s sound buttttttt for a whole albummm? no there’s a creative way too incorporated 80 sound and aesthetic without having to do the 80s sound one of one think of cowboy Carter on how Beyoncé took western sounds and country sounds flipped it and re-utilized it for her liking if she wanted to rap so bad she could’ve easily gotten in a 80s sort of trap or rap beat or something creative and did that instead we got born again PRINCE rapping over these damn pop songs i did not like this album and i took home three songs it may change but the sound turns into white noise and the beat is very similar song to song she really should’ve looked at different songs from the 80s and hear how different they sound imagine if she did type songs like “ every breath you take” “on a limb Teena marie’s” ANY THING WHITNEY HOUSTON she could’ve incorporated more rock sounds within the 80 beats too because the beats were very similar. There were no distinction. I cannot point out one interesting beat off this album and that’s bad. This album felt like a prince Madonna and Janet Jackson love letter. Unfortunately the letter did not reach me. It got lost in the mail 6 out of 10. I kept a few songs it could grow on me if i randomly stumbled on more songs (this is coming from someone who listens to rock , alt r&b rap pop blues , k-pop everything so im talking from a genre biased) All mine take me dancing acts of service make it up one more time
kaykay
“Hey Dee! I’m a new Patreon subscriber. I’ve been watching your videos on YouTube and really enjoy them, so I decided to subscribe to your Patreon.”
foxyf4g 💞
that old white lady with the red lipstick in gorgeous mv is actually doja’s mother !! 🤍
cydney brooke
DEE trying to self soothe at 56:03 😂 im screaminggg
Lug chug
All mine was terrible. Doja needs to realize that little high baby voice she does sounds a hot mess
Jkv
I can appreciate paying homage to the 80s, but if I want 80s music imma go listen to that. This album was okay. I only saved “Gorgeous”, “Take me Dancing”, and “Stranger”. Maybe more of the songs will grow on me later, but I give it a 5.5/10.
Rell Davis
I was listening to this when it first dropped and was like oh yeah dee is gonna hate this 🤣🤣
Mark Webber
the album is a chop
Jalen
oh cardi get off the floor
RedWolf
The album is giving https://x.com/CountagiousART/status/1972333455993381367
Ari
This might just be my least favorite doja album. Also the update on cardi's album, I like it way more now too. It gave me more songs in the gym
Just Dance107
I do really like this album mainly the lyrics and beats but I do agree that this is my least favorite album from her other ones , my favorite album is Hot Pink💖 love you and your reaction dee✨️
Joshua Lewis
Sonically the album has that up beat tempo … she came through with the BARS!!!…And she does the 80s crossover really well, 10/10. With that being said, I saved 0/15 songs … 😂🤣… I fell asleep in the last half of the album and I’m at the gym so that says a lot 😂. This album reminds me of those 80s songs I like and can vibe to when I’m outdoors but would NEVER have in my playlist because they’ll get played once a year. It’s TOO MUCH 80s in one album. She could have kept the 80s theme on some songs while incorporating a modern hip hop/pop sound because this sh!t is for the checkers diner when you’re out with your grandparents and they don’t want to hear the new school sh!t but they want something reminiscent from their time. No shade to checkers y’all. 💀
Chris
Honestly, when I first heard this album, I was so disappointed💀 I’ve been listening to a lot 80s music for many months as of now and even making 80s inspired music myself, so I was excited when she announced she was leaning into that era. But like you said, I kept asking, “why is there a rap verse on almost every song?” It works on songs like lipstain, gorgeous, cards and acts of service, but other songs felt like they should’ve just been fully sung. It got repetitive because I started expecting a rap verse on every song, even on songs I didn't want one on. And the production, it sounded like they were forcing a saxophone on every song😂 and sometimes sounded very chaotic, like two beats were playing at once💀 After relistening, I like more songs than my first listen, but I wish would've she leaned into more of the different genres from that era.
Daviiii
I liked a few of the songs the only thing I hate is that the 80s beats all sound the exact same to me so that makes the songs sound a bit repetitive.
Ferdinand Stevens
This album is decent. Cards is the standout track for me.
onyx 💫
yea i knew smth sounded diff regarding her vocal production lmfao u perfectly described it
Isaac Duran
Lmao I knew you would not fw this album but at least you gave it a try. Personally I love it.
Joanah Eugene
The way I liked cardi’s album more but then again they should not be compared cardi’s was rap dojas was pop but im just not feeling this 80s boring shit
Joanah Eugene
I hated this album I couldn’t even get to the 4th song
Ktri
I want HOT PINK Doja back
Marcus
This coming from a person that did NOT like planet her cus of the crazy pop. I absolutely loved this album, the fact there’s so much rap verses and the 80s pop (not modern pop) made it feel way better and actually enjoyable to listen too personally. Deff half way through the album some songs were getting boring but couple of them I just had to re-listen to really get it. Feel crazy being the ONLY one fuckin with it LMAOO
Prince Of Jades
omg THANK YOU Dee cause we have the exact same thoughts on the album, and I thought I was going clinically insane when this dropped cause everybody was like “this a 10/10 album” “no skips” and I was like… this is the worst doja cat album (imo) and I love her music but this was sooooo off (TO ME)
Shaavanii
lol then you said lion king lol 😂
Shaavanii
The last song sound like a lion king soundtrack 😂
Volflion
I did not think Cardi's album would be better than Doja Cat's but here we are
Shaavanii
The more I tried to listen to this album the more I didn’t like it 😭😭😭 I only have 3 songs saved out of the 15
liyah
also the main reason I like Gorgeous is because of the MV without it I was like "ehh.. okay girl" 😭
liyah
I REALLY like half of the album the other half was a big disappointment 😔 I enjoy pop Doja, but that's it. I don't love it or get excited by it I just think it's fine. But the songs that *hit* were amazing
Xenari
I’m a big Doja fan and tbh I would say the album is okay. I do like the 80s direction she’s going in and I do like most of the songs towards the middle of the album, not the first couple of songs from the beginning and end which I noticed. When she raps on some of these songs, they definitely don’t fit like Lipstain for example. I have about 7 songs saved and I would say they’re listenable, but overall the album didn’t wow me. This wasn’t her best work in my opinion and I wasn’t a big fan of Planet Her either. Amala, Hot pink, and Scarlet are my favorites.
Shaavanii
I honestly had such a hard time getting through this album personally!! And that sucked cause I normally like Doja Music!! But I found myself constantly checking to see if song was almost over
$4👾
i think this album has alot of problems and im saying this as a pop doja fan. It feels like on the sing parts, she forgot to record the lead vocals it sounds like background vocals and and adlibs most of the time. I blame the producer , jack antonoff, he tends to like to wash out vocals a lot, and just because he works with taylor swift everyone flocks to him. He has ruined so many pop albums and he needs to stop. Sorry for the rant, im just disappointed its by far doja's worst album. : ( hope her label doesnt drop her it aint doing numbers either
r
stoppp i literally said come back reminds me of a hakuna matata lion king type of song AND U DID THE SAME 😭😭😭
itsisaac06
alot of the songs sounded like jazz music you would hear in McDonalds
Rania
On first listen I couldn’t stand this album and even now I barely go back to it. I only like two or three songs but everything else is too samey. I’m so sad cause I was looking forward to it. I will say her raps on this album were amazing and lowkey wished these were on her scarlet album but alas it is what it is. I fear this might be my least favourite album from her 🥲
Kennnn
I HATED Planet Her first listen.. I love it now though 😭 I get how you feel
Trevion
I COULDNT STAND THIS ALBUM!! THE JACK ANTONOFF PLAGUE NEEDS TO CEASE. I love Pop but this was a HELL no. I only kept Acts of Service and Come Back
Oziel fernandez
I need her to get that chip on her shoulder again .
geoffy
I did listen to this album on my own. NO. I honestly couldn’t stand listening to this album. I was going to the park annoyed, but I told myself Dee gunna react to it and maybe it’ll grow on me. Yeah no lol. Take me dancing did grow on me tho, and that’s just it. Her singing nor rapping tone doesn’t fit this 80s sound. It feels like she wanted a theme but I feel like she didn’t try enough to fit in the theme. And imo I feel like it was too early to release this album. Feels like the beat or audio and her singing was out of place. Which is why, I feel it’s rushed and not done probably.
Alejandro
I agree with you about having to pace when you listen to some albums cause im the same way. I think I'll come back yo this album but idk I cant vibe with it just through one go especially since I think that a lot of that 80s stuff sounds the same lmaoo
Sevn
No I get it because I listened to the whole thing in the shower and this album pissed me off so bad, and im a pop fan💀 but re-listening to it in pieces, my favorites are the ones I hated the most like All Mine is my shit now, so maybe there's still hope lol
jahir
it’s always nice seeing your reactions cause i tend to have the opposite opinion, example being that i lovee stranger 😭 it really grew on me. i will say tho this album definitely needed more listens for me to enjoy it and even then i don’t love it. few stand out songs but unfortunately it kinda felt like a long song at some points and started to drag towards the end. solid..7.5/10 for me.
Qua
I just knew you wasn’t going to fuck with this album but its a grower fr give it a second listen or two. It have some of her best rapping ever even better than scarlet in my opinion. I’m always looking forward to your reactions I clicked so fast when I saw this. My favorite artist plus favorite reactor
Destiny
I really like this album it was cohesive and she rapped on beat 😌
crispygum
I personally love the 80s so I definitely feel like she did it right with this album. I'm glad she took a risk with this sound because it's so different from Scarlet. One thing I always respect about Doja is her ARTISTRY! Especially with these last two albums, she really has a vision and executes it perfectly Imo. This and Scarlet are tied with replay value for me
•Tropical Moon•
mhm, tbh i didnt really mind the rapping a lot, but I agree with this!!
massiah
but yes bars are there lyricism there she’s really that girl but the next time u get in my ear doja it better be rap… enough with the random side quests don’t come to me with no yittish folklore
RedWolf
I had to listen to this album all the time. I listened to it about 7 times. I saved Cards, Jealous Type, AAAHH Men, Gorgeous, Stranger, Lip Stain, and Silly Fun. First listen only saved three songs; to me, Scarlet remains her best album. This is like her third best after Planet Her. Loved your reaction, although you weren't feeling the album. :D
massiah
sooooo after watching i had a lot of similar opinions to u and i really wanted to like this album cuz doja my girl😩😩 but i don’t even think she even tried to make this palatable for listeners who really fuck with the 80s sound she was tryna get in her beyoncé bag that she can do anything and anybody gonna listen when in reality i stopped listening at the 6th song and didn’t come back to it until THIS VIDEO! probably a solid 5 good songs so ima give it a 2/5 cuz Scarlet was that girl!
ddycupid
Scarlet remains her best album. Doja just needs to stick to rap 🗣️
Qua
girl NO kitten said she’s outselling Cardi yall just made that up
Supreme Victory
I really like Doja and I appreciate her creativity, but this project just isn’t for me. The only track I held onto was Acts of Service….she previewed it months back and I was obsessed. Honestly, that one feels like it could’ve been on Scarlet and seems a bit out of place with the rest of the album… She’s still the most creative out of all the modern rap girls, and I really respect the risks she takes. Honestly, I wish more of them did the same, because a lot of their music (Meg especially) ends up sounding repetitive Butttt yeahhhhh I’ll wait on her next era lol
Marcus
Yeah I only really liked that song with sza. 😭 but im going to listen to the album again.
Omar_q8
Come on skin😍
clarence.
Sammeeee
Etoile2004
It needs a few more listens for me…lyrically she always kills it but I don’t think this sound is for me it sounds very bland and generic at some points
geoffy
Her singing through these 80s inspired songs is too strong for her voice. It’s making her singing strained and especially her background vocals she feels lost and don’t know what note to hit, she could’ve done a lot of breath control because it feels like she felt like it was hard to get most of these notes out. Or maybe change the lyric and tone with this song. 🤷♂️
Paul Reyes
I also work from home Dee, and yes, you always gotta move lol. I hella relate to that
Bray
Okay, I’m not fan of these album at All and your not alone people feel the same about the music too but let me tell you the tea cause ik you not on twitter. So basically Kittens & Bardi Gang are beefing they said that Doja was gonna outsell cardi well.. Doja ended up being outsell by Mariah Carey on itunes chile and then Cardi went back to number 1 on itunes and apple this morning despite new releases. You are not alone people don’t fuck with this album and she made it 14.99 to buy and she made the vinyl 250$. She wants to sell 3 copies 😭😭 and now cardi will spend another week at number 1 and ms cat will be outsold by Mariah and her album 😬
jahir
she had said in an interview that she feels like she’s a rapper who makes pop music predominantly so i feel like that was an indirect reason on why shes rapping all thru out the album while very obviously being a pop album.
•Tropical Moon•
I heard the preview for gorgeous and knew i was gonna love it, and after listening to the album, gorgeous is the only song i really really liked
Sa7ekg 027
I mean does it count tho since she is back in her pop bag
clarence.
Okay so, im just NOT a big fan of this album. Scarlet is still THE ONE. It already started with this era having no storytelling beforehand, just suddenly 80s. I Do like some songs on this album tho, but I already know that those will be the only songs i'll listen to. The 80s has a certain vibe that i can really appreciate when done right. Michael Jackson, Whitney and Madonna really did their thing but kept it sorta clean with the productions. Some productions and beats on this album are too chaotic for me. It sounds good but a little too much rapping. And sometimes a little too much singing. I miss pieces of just hearing the beat and vibing to that, in between verses. It JUST misses the mark every time. I do like these songs: Gorgeous, Acts of Service & One More Time. Doja's PEN is THEE one and not the two. That, we all know! So im excited to see what she'll do for her next album. I would give this a solid 6/10. I love that she is experimenting with different era's and genres. Not everybody has to like it but i appreciate her giving us something new every time. She is really the only one doing it.🔥
itsisaac06
make it up was my favorite song on this album :)
Dee Shanell
😂😂
Ben Turner
Yea I hated this high-top fade low rider car ass album…but as usual loved your feedback 🫶🏾
Dee Shanell
Jack def gotta go 😂
lilrickyfrm51
Ngl, this is the best recent album Jack Antelope produced (He produced Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter's recent album) but I still wont come back to most of this album. This style of Pop just aint for me Like that last song, I couldnt even take it serious cuz I just kept picturing Michael Jackson when he had his shirt blowin in the wind in the Black & White vid 😂😂 I need rapping Doja back fr
Dee Shanell
Omg not him again lmao the pop girls are becoming a little too reliant on him
Dee Shanell
Aw damn 😭 interesting to get a perspective from someone who likes this genre
Angel Cruz
Am I the only one that hears Nicki in acts of service 😭 like in the background vocals towards the end
Jackdeel
the album wasnt my thing but the fact this is the first female rap album with no features
freddie
i feel like i'm the only one that genuinely LOVED this album 😭 like the visual and sonic direction was so clear to me from the start. i get if it's not everyone's cup of tea though
geoffy
Yh I couldn’t finish this album it felt like it was boring.
Lushymuse
Bring back Max Martin! If we going to do Pop, do it right. Jack gotta go. Taylor can have him back. Heck, even Benny Blanco will do. He got mad #1s too.
ManiBabe
i love 80s music but this album was very boring to me. i love Doja but it didn't feel like she put her heart into vie. it feels detached and cliche idk that's just me. interested to hear what you have to say
Kermarz
Doja cat is the first female rapper to have solo writing credits on her album for Vie
Antonio
Jack Antonoff out here sabotaging everybody’s albums😭
4ft.b
Apparently Doja launching a makeup line called gorgeous. Also scarlet and this album both were 100% only written by Doja, no other writers at all.
charmaine
I have an old school playlist with music from the 60s-90s because that’s what my mom played around me a lot so I like those eras of music but compared to doja’s album, she sounded bored and soulless to me. idk it made me want to just listen to music from the 80s instead of her generic version of it. i made it through only 5 songs but since I like your reactions, I’m gonna see if this helps me make it through more of this album 😭
Joshua Lewis
Been waiting for this reaction!!!… Another album of reaction of “Dee-coding the music” or maybe I should say Dee’s Listen sessions 🤷♂️ 😂…
