Medical Probs Update
🕑 Added 2024-08-19 17:07:40 +0000 UTCI've been having pretty terrible sleep lately and lots of the same nerve problems and visual issues. It feels like I'll go to bed feeling pretty alright, but end up waking with more symptoms then when I went to bed.... and pain.
I did an at home sleep study August 7th and received an Obstructive Sleep Apnea diagnosis. My doctor has given me a CPAP prescription and they're supposed to call me within a week to get me the CPAP Machine.
I'm honestly in a lot of pain, but I've been slowly getting better mentally with all of this medical progress. I sincerely hope that bad sleep has been the cause of all of my problems and this machine starts to put me on the right track.
I still have physical therapy appointments to attend next month and follows up with my Spine Specialist. Something is definitely wrong in my neck and upper back....and my side sleeping setup has been making it much worse. I feel caught in a loop that only sleeping on my back might fix. But I've never been able to sleep on my back....so I pray to god the CPAP can change that.
Everyday is hard and I haven't been able to do much in the way of art or anything at my computer for long. I apologize to everyone on my commissions list, but until I start to feel better....I can't do much

Wish you nothing but the best, Gyzer. Rest is the best thing you can do for your body at the moment, so take as much of it as you need :)

Damn, sleep disorders is quite stressful for the body. Wish you to recover well, take all the rest you need ;)

Yeah, I just always feel like I can't breathe. But I'll definitely try that too <3 once I get the CPAP

I hope it helps! For me, I always get nightmares when I try to sleep on my back - unless I put a body pillow on top of my chest, for some reason that helps.
