I have, however, left a few things ambiguous up to the this point in the story. This poll will help me decide the direction of the second half of things, now that the setup is largely completed.

Double oooooooo! And perhaps rather than stealing the power, the orb duplicates and magnifies them? Then she can battle the league members with their own (but enhanced!) abilities.

Depending on this poll's outcome, I'll start crafting act 2 of the story (everything up to now was effectively act 1, with the conflict really kicking in during part 5). I was thinking it would be 10 or so parts, but that could always change...

It would be very interesting if she ran into that person. What were the effects on her (I assume it would be a her) compared to Alyssa? The story is incredible so far and it’s intriguing to speculate about the possibilities of upcoming chapters. I’m hoping there is still a decent amount still to come as I don’t think any of your readers want to see it end anytime soon!

I tend to cheat a little and adapt things to my way of doing stuff when I think it's sexier. Call it creative liberty. ;) For this story, at least, I liked the idea of Alyssa developing further every time Clark runs into her. So my Kryptonite is affecting her more gradually. :) I can certainly add in an explanation of the reduced effect. Maybe it's so old that the amount of radiation it emits is reduced and it takes longer to change her or something. Or maybe it has been used before, diminishing its effect. Might be interesting if Alyssa ran into that person, perhaps? ;)

The various plot directions you are offering are all interesting. If I may however, in the way that you wrote the first 4 chapters, Alyssa's transformation seemed "gradual", growing sexier and more incredible everytime she met with Clark. The nerd in me would say that the platinum Kryptonite option does not really fit this narrative since it only needs to be touched once to instantly give someone all the powers of a Kryptonian. But that's a very nerd thing to say. Write whatever you feel like. Pretty sure, we'll all love it. Thanks again!

The third one could open for a twist where Alyssa develop powers from many hero(ins) due to Clark making an offhand comment about how powerful the different league members are?
