Beyond Super - Chapter 8

Alyssa felt Supergirl’s fist before she even saw the gorgeous blonde move. One minute, the Girl of Steel was holding Superman. The next? She was smirking in satisfaction, lowering her arm as Alyssa sailed away at hypersonic speed.
Then, Alyssa felt it.
The pain.
Her jaw felt as if it had been hit by a freight train—back when she had been merely human! Good God, this amped-up version of Supergirl was strong! Significantly more powerful than the fully empowered Wonder Woman. Far more powerful than Superman.
Alyssa began to slow herself down using her flying ability, but it wasn’t until her back collided with the moon, sending it spinning into space, knocking it free of its previous orbit, that she managed to stop. And when she did…
...Supergirl was there!
The blonde superhero-turned-supervillainess’ fist flashed before Alyssa’s eyes, pain exploding through her eye socket as it sent her right back where she’d started. Alyssa flew backward once more, her brain shorting out from the concussive power of the blow until she cratered into Clark’s house, buried in the foundation in a mass of detritus.
Supergirl landed next to her, a dark smile drawing her lips upward as she crossed her arms beneath her modest chest. “So it looks like the little blonde bimbo isn’t so tough after all.”
Alyssa stared up at the Maid of Might from the shattered concrete base of the house, her pupils flared, expression dazed and dreamy. She felt a trickle of something running down her jaw and dabbed at it with her fingers.
It was blood.
Blood!
Supergirl had actually managed to injure her!
Alyssa closed her eyes, drawing more power from the stone, feeling the last of its energy flow into her staggeringly sexy body, improving it yet again. The ringing in her ears faded. Her bleeding stopped. She rose to her feet.
Supergirl reached out to grab the front of the cheerleader’s torn shirt, but Alyssa gripped her wrist. The two young women paused, eying each other as they vied for dominance.
Then, Supergirl poured on the strength, her lips curling upward into a cruel smile.
Alyssa gasped at the other girl’s raw power as she powered through her grasp. “But I emptied the stone?! I should be more powerful than—”
“Anyone except me?” Supergirl interrupted, her blue eyes flashing with menace. “Yes, that’s probably true. But Darkseid has made me more powerful than you can possibly imagine. Omega energy feels absolutely divine. I can feel it flowing through my muscles, making me stronger every minute that it lives inside me. He has brought me back to earth to enslave this planet for him. And none of you…” She nodded toward Wonder Woman and Superman before returning her gaze to Alyssa’s widening eyes. “...are going to stop me.”
Alyssa launched a devastatingly hard punch directly into Supergirl’s stomach. It landed, but it only managed to make her ultra-powerful opponent bend forward slightly. Alyssa’s knuckles stung as she withdrew her hand. Supergirl straightened immediately, wearing another superior smirk.
Alyssa tried again, sending her other hand into Supergirl’s bare stomach. Supergirl’s abs rippled as they clenched in preparation for her strike. But the thud of her second fist did nothing more than the first, eliciting a minimal reaction at best. Clearly, Supergirl was feeling her strikes, it’s just that they weren’t doing any real damage.
The Girl of Steel’s defined muscles made Alyssa feel as if she were back to being a teenage girl, launching jabs into a heavy punching bag whose firm, weighted surface barely moved with the force of her best punches. It was as if every sleek undulation of Supergirl’s perfect abdomen were completely unyielding to her fist.
Supergirl laughed cruelly before leaning in to whisper in Alyssa’s perfect ear. “Sorry, bitch. You might be prettier than me, but fifth dimensional being or not, you’re no match for me in terms of raw power.”
Holding Alyssa by the neck, Supergirl unleashed a series of dizzying blows into the sexy blonde cheerleader’s angelic face and stomach, each seeming harder than the next. All Alyssa could see was Supergirl’s hard eyes, periodically interrupted by iron-hard knuckles as they pounded her again and again. The blonde stunner’s face began to swell, trickles of blood streaming from her lips and nose.
As Alyssa slumped in Supergirl’s grip, the Maid of Might wound up for a final shot to the girl’s sculpted stomach that left the breathtaking blonde blinded by pain, gasping and writhing in absolute agony.
After the last of a good dozen strikes, Supergirl released her grip, allowing her overmatched opponent to crumple to the floor.
Diana’s eyes went wide as she watched Darkseid’s creation dispatch an opponent that mere moments before had seemed invincible even to fully-empowered, god-killing levels. But she knew she had to act. She had to do something. She couldn’t simply let Darkseid win!
Giving a risen Superman, on the other side of his cousin, a meaningful look, Diana charged the Girl of Steel from behind as she lorded over the fallen Alyssa. She tackled the young blonde, her right bicep colliding with the black-clad supervillainess’ bare lower back.
She had intended to tackle the girl, but Supergirl didn’t go down. Instead, she twisted her insanely toned midsection and grabbed Wonder Woman by the hair, pulling her head harshly back to force the beautiful brunette’s pain-filled eyes to meet hers. Diana’s hands rose to attempt to pry Supergirl’s fingers from her head, but she could do nothing to budge the blonde supervillain’s steely fingers.
“You always were a disgrace, Diana,” Supergirl sneered.”Agreeing to diminish your strength with those bracelets just to ‘control’ your power? What utter bullshit. Women like you deserve what you have coming.”
At that moment, Superman’s punch landed on Kara’s jaw from her other side. She whirled, still clutching Diana in a single hand, to see Clark grimacing and cradling his hand to his chest.
“You silly, stupid man,” Kara laughed, amused at her cousin’s pathetic attempt to hurt her. “You might as well be a regular human. Your ‘powers’ are laughable next to mine, Kal. Darkseid has shown me what true power really feels like.”
Smiling darkly, she flung Diana into Clark, her casual throw resulting in a terrifyingly forceful collision that sent them both tumbling through the backyard—and the rest of the neighborhood and surrounding areas until they finally came to a stop hundreds of miles away.
Alyssa, still clutching her battered stomach and tonguing her bruised cheek, rose to her feet in outrage. “You better not have hurt my boyfriend, bitch.”
She drove her leg into Supergirl’s stomach, driving her back. Then, she hopped into the air, one leg extended behind her in a ballet-like position before she closed her legs together and launched herself into the staggered supervillainess like a stunningly shapely missile.
Her twin fists met Supergirl’s face with the force of hundreds of atomic detonations, sending the girl a few more steps back. Alyssa followed with a flurry of punches and kicks, each driving Supergirl back another step.
Alyssa knew that this wouldn’t last long, however. She wasn’t doing any visible damage to her opponent, merely keeping the Girl of Steel off balance. She needed something more. She needed more power. She needed to be stronger.
Suddenly, Alyssa’s father popped into view behind her. “Stop thinking in three-dimensional terms. Start thinking more creatively. You can do far more than simple feats of strength, girl. Use your interdimensional powers!”
Alyssa considered his words as a final punch thudded undramatically into Supergirl’s impossibly fit body, this one no longer even moving the supervillainess back as she began to recover from Alyssa’s frustrated flurry of attacks. The young fifth-dimensional being reached out with her consciousness, finding the thread of purple energy that flowed into her from some unknown place and following it until she sensed a vast reservoir of power just beyond. She reached for the pool of energy, sucking in more power, using it to form a shield of purple energy before her. Her father was right! She could do more than just be strong. She could do so much more!
Supergirl’s eyes trembled in anger, the muscles of her sculpted arms going rigid as the Girl of Steel prepared to strike back. Supergirl swung at Alyssa even as the young fifth-dimensional stunner emptied her reservoir of purple power into the protective energy shield.
Supergirl screamed a cry of desperate fury as she tested her omega-enhanced strength against every drop of power Alyssa could muster.
The Girl of Steel’s fury-fueled blow shattered Alyssa’s shield, crashing into Alyssa’s sternum, just below her magnificent breasts, instantly dropping the resplendently beautiful girl to her knees with an impossibly powerful explosion of pain.
Supergirl lifted her foot, tucking her toe under Alyssa’s chin, flipping the helpless girl onto her back. The blonde cheerleader couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think.
She couldn’t beat Supergirl. The Girl of Steel was just too strong.
As if to reinforce the girl’s thoughts, Supergirl slammed her heel into Alyssa’s unprotected stomach, folding the impossibly sexy girl in half on either side of her shapely foot. Another blast of white-hot pain seared through the blonde cheerleader as she tensed in utter agony before her curvaceous body dropped limply to the ground.
“Excellent work, Supergirl. You truly are as awesome a specimen as I could have ever envisioned,” said Darkseid, casually sauntering to where the Girl of Steel had dispatched her blonde adversary.
“Thank you,” she beamed, her eyes flashing predatorially as she removed her foot from her battered opponent’s bruised stomach, leaving Alyssa lying lifelessly below her.
Her lips curling into an expression of disgust, Supergirl reached down to grab Alyssa’s hand and hauled the groaning girl to her feet, draping the cheerleader’s noodle-like arm over her shoulders to support the girl’s lithe but limp body. Alyssa’s long eyelashes barely fluttered as she wavered at the brink of unconsciousness.
“What do you want me to do with this one, boss?” Supergirl asked the gray-skilled god.
Darkseid placed a finger to his mouth, tapping his lips as he thought, his eyes drifting upward to meet Mr. Mxylptlk’s wide, horrified eyes.

There was a significant divide on the last vote between those who wanted a heroine or those who wanted a villainess, so I designed this story to be able to turn in either direction in the final chapter. :)

I love the idea of posting two different endings, why not create your own multiverse! I have really enjoyed this series and although I’m looking forward to find out what ultimately happens, for both endings, I’m sad that it’s reaching its conclusion.

Hmmm, ok. I can change that in the final version. I intend to add a chapter to the early going to show Alyssa at school before I post it here as a finished PDF too. :)

Hi there! I’m so glad that you joined my Patreon! Good ideas, both. We’ll soon see how it turns out. I started writing the two chapter 9s today and hope to post them both next weekend.
I'm hoping Darkseid dies in both. No reason Dark Supergirl should end up working for him. Also, she might deserve some extra fifth dimensional powers of her own? Looking forward to this version, obviously!

This is the second to last chapter of this story. I'm going to have two different versions of chapter 9--one for those who like darker endings and one for those who like lighter ones. I really hope you guys like the thrilling conclusion to this one...
