Hi! I just downloaded the base, HQ pack. The hairstyles show up, but in white/red color and a questionmark on the face. Maybe you can explain what I did wrong? :) I downloaded each hairstyle (the basic ones), so not the bicolor or chunky files.

I downloaded both Collections. Collection 1 works perfectly. The hair look amazing. But Collection 2 doesn't work. I can see them in CAS. But when I try them on my Sim in CAS, they look like the mesh is broken or doens't exist. What can I do? (I have all expansion packs and all updates installed) Thank you

Hiii! The "full hair" has a blonde thumbnail, those that have half of the hair are either the chunky or bicolour version hahaha. For those you need to download the Extras and pick the Chunky/Bicolour texture. Check the links of the extras (at the end of this post) and there you can download the package you need 😊 (Also sorry for the complicated mess hahaha)

Hi! Have you tried using the guided download? The file comes straight from my website and there shouldn't be issues with .zip. Also, in the manual download you only need a package per collection, so, supposing you don't use hq mod nor colour slider, you have to go to folder 1, non hq, base, and download that package. Then repeat the process with folder 2. Hope this helps, and if you still have issues just let me know again and I'll try to help you 😊

Hello! Let me help you with this haha. There are 2 things you need for the hairs that have 2 different colours. First you have to pick one of the hairs, either chunky or bicolour, and then you go into hats/skin details/tattoos (there's a list of all the categories in the Extras post) and you have to select the bicolour texture. This texture is the one that gives the second colour to the hair. The black parts you mention look like this because they need the texture. Hi! The base are just the textures for the hairs to work, the extras are the roots/highlights/chunky & bicolour. Once you have that, then you download the hairs you want 😊 If you need help getting everything ready DM me and I'll gladly help you with everything you need ❤️

Hi! Im not sure how to use these, when i choose a bicolor hair, one side changes color but the other side is just black. even when I use the mask thing with it, the mask (no matter which one) just adds another layer over the side that changes color and nothing on the black side.

Hello!! Thank you for joining 🥰 As for your question, if you aren't using the sliders you don't have to download the slider version. The only difference in that package is the textures format, which is bigger. The slider package will work with games that don't use the slider but you'll be taking more storage than what you'd need 😊

When you download the hair, do you have the file that ends in “bicolour” in your mods folder? If you do, these appear below the “normal/full colour” hairs, scroll down a bit further and check if they’re there. If you still have issues DM me ☺️

I cannot for the life of me work out what I'm doing wrong but I can't get the hairs to have the pink and green thumbnail so the extras won't work. The hairs work on their own and the extras are there they just don't work. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Hi! I’m so sorry you had to go through that for 4 days. You should have messaged me since day one, I would have helped sooner 😔. Just to see if I got it right, you can’t see the bicolour/chunky textures in hats/other accessories, right? Did you put the package file without modifying it with s4s? It’s a big merged package so any change could affect all items. Also write me in direct messages because sometimes I miss comments notifications and I want to help you with this.

Maybe there’s a part missing because it’s a chunky/bicolour hair. Those need the extras, and then you go into hats and select the second colour of the hair that will give texture to the missing part 😊

Hey, so I have downloaded all the chromatic collection 1 hairs, the base package and the extras. Every time I log in I go to the hairs and the add ons for the chunky, and bicolors are nowhere in any of the categories. Hi! Let me help you with it 😊. If you click in Download the base package, it takes you to an interactive site that depending on your questions it gives you the package you need. In your case, click NO (you do not use hq mod), and in next question click in YES (you use colour slider mod), and that's it! For the extras (chunky, bicolour, ombré, roots, highlights) see the next link that says DOWNLOAD EXTRAS, and click the one you want, collection 1 or 2. If you still have issues write me again and I will gladly help you 😘

Hi! I think I know why that happens, and it's very easy to fix. Do you know how to work with packages? If you do, all you have to do is change the sort layer to something higher than 12500, if you don't, write me privately and I will try to do it for you :)

Hey! I just downloaded the hairs and this and everything looks okay, but when I add the second color it puts ATR (from what I can see) in my sims eye and I checked to make sure I didn't download the base and other things twice. EDIT: I managed to figure out why its not working, for some reason in skin details and in gloves the eye to make heterochromia gets the ATR when I have the hairs on. Idk why its doing that, they're both completely unrelated

Ok so I finally got a non corrupted download. I've been getting occasional corrupted files when downloading your hairs. I've started to notice that I get them only when I download from the main page. If I go into the post and download I don't get corrupted files. Don't know if that will work/help anyone else having corruption issues. But also thank you Anto for making such amazing hairs, I honeslty can't play without your hairs <3

It's really frustating even the game refuses to load...I have an error message. The chromatic hair is a great idea but way too much complicated to handle...I regret old basic hair which worked perfectly well :-(

Hello, i have big issues with your chromatic hair. When i placed your hairs in my mods, i had this message: "corrupted files", then when i tried to remove some swatches with sims 4studio i had a message with an error "S4Studio.Data.IO.Package.PackageLoadException: Failed to load C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Electronic Arts\Les Sims 4\Mods\Anto chromatic\Anto_S4Textures_Chromatic1_Base_v1.2_HQ.package ---> S4Studio.Data.IO.Package.PackageLoadException: Failed to load C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Electronic Arts\Les Sims 4\Mods\Anto chromatic\Anto_S4Textures_Chromatic1_Base_v1.2_HQ.package ---> System.IO.EndOfStreamException: Unable to read beyond the end of the stream. at System.IO.BinaryReader.FillBuffer(Int32 numBytes) . Plus all the hairs appear transparent on the sim when i want to remove the swatches. I have downloaded everything which is needed for the hair to work so i don't no what to do !

Hi! This package is just for base colours, if you want chunky, bicolour, roots and ombré you need to download the extras 😊. Also when you download the hairs (not this texture) you will get multiple files, delete those that say chunky and bicolour to keep just the normal hair.

I am so lost with the downloads thesedays, I tried so many browsers, different computers, even diferent OS, and it always work... I even tried chrome in windows and with adblock... just for trying... could you check if with internet explorer (if you use pc) or safari (if you use mac) the file downloads fine? Let me know and if it still fails I will have to upload all hairs elsewhere. So sorry for the issue...

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong lol. I hadn't downloaded the base textures (nonHQ) and the bicolour/chunky accessories, so the hairs were coming out all distorted. Now I have everything organized and I love the hairs so much!! I can finally make rockstar/emo sims for my bands and their hair can finally be dyed properly. <3

I'm going crazy with this issue, seriously. I've tried windows+edge, mac+safari, mac+chrome. I tried them in s4 for windows, and s4 for mac, all of them new games with no other CC than these and everything worked fine, I am so damn lost regarding this 😔

I used Edge which is basically the same as Brave, so it should be the same thing. Later I will try to download everything from Safari in Mac, instead of windows, just to see more alternatives. If the issue still persists message me and I will give you alternative links 😞

I've downloaded this and the chromatic extras ( hq version ). ive also downloaded the Henar hair, but its only showing up one colour on the hair section. i know the bi-colour and chunky is in the hats, so ill click on the colour i want and its still one colour why?... i can use the roots and ombre work fine. x

I've been really wanting a way to add grey roots for my older Sims to show gradual ageing - your Chromatic tool is *perfect* for this - yet to try it but you are now my favourite, and you've remastered all of your previous hairs too. Oh it doesn't have anything to do with the collection as these are just textures. What you ask is a bunch of hairs that, let's say, have the same hairline, same length, but in different styles, right?

This is so good! I have a request but it is not a request at the same time..I know confusing right? Anyway I always find myself searching for hairstyles that match the "main" hairstyle choice but in like updos or ponytails. Is that a thing you might do down the road with the Chromatic Collection ?Or is that just a complicated mess that my lack of understanding of the process of creation desires but is unrealistic? I am mainly curious and not actually asking you to do this.

You only need the base. The others are just extras if you want more color combinations :D

Hello! You have 3 versions of each hair (at least). The one that shows half of the hair needs an extra accessory (found in hats/rings) to colour the other half of the hair. Let me know if this doesn't solve the issue :)

I hope so! I will need some extra time for that because I want to make it look good and doing ombres and such with curls is a bit more complicated (plain gradient would look bad hahaha)

Thank you very much 🥰 Yeah it's so bad that EA didn't make a colour wheel for TS4. The only good thing is that colours look better than what one could get with the wheel, but it limits a lot the options...

This is AMAZING 😍😍 you are so so awesome. When i started playing sims 4, i missed the colorwheel thing from sims3 so badly and the option to choose different colors on roots and stuff. But you finally made that possible again 😁 And a tinsy question, i love your hairs so much and i have recolored a bunch of them already. Will it be allowed to recolor the hairs in the chromatic collection too? And if it's allowed will it be possible to do it as "normal" with your older hairs? i'm thinking just recoloring the base (the hair itself) without needing to adding the extra for roots and ombrè?

The roots and ombré show as accessory, the base appears in the hair section when you pick the hair ☺️

Im having an issue with this showing up in my game (i have the base file in my folder) for some reason it just wont show up (but the roots and ombres are showing)
