Eivor Hairstyle (Requires The Chromatic Collection 1 v1.2)

Everytime I have to make a change in the textures everything becomes a mess for me, and in this case I had to remake the entire thing just to remove the scalp texture. I tried to do it the best I could to keep the size as small as possible.
You need to update your Chromatic Collection textures for this hair to work!
GET THE UPDATED BASE TEXTURES HERE
So, grab your axes and get ready to loot England (or any Sims neighbourhood) with Eivor's hairstyle. Also don't forget to grab the heabands/rings accessory that you can find in hats, or the hair will be incomplete. Really. And even if you only want female hair, download male accessory as it's required for female one to work.
This hair is made out of 6 hairstyles, base, chunky, bicolour, but both of them are made for both genders. In order to make the hair fit as best as I could I had to make them exclusive for each gender. Imagine importing all of them 3 times. Not fun at all ๐
Anyway, the hair is finally here for you all. I hope I didn't mess up anything in the process. Also, since this hair has one side shaved, you should get the new scalp textures I just did so you can combine it with the hair, or just wear it without hair for a buzz cut style.

I tried it and your right it works with the male accessory

Okay I just checked the packages, and seems I remembereded that correctly haha. The "real" accessory is male package, while female one is just a different mesh to fit female version of the hair, but the textures are included only in male accessory. I did this to save disk space. Even if you don't use the male version, did you have the male accessory package in your mods folder?

Forgive me, I completely forgot to check it ๐. Iโm setting a reminder for tomorrow riiiiiight now (already in bed). Btw did you delete male accessory package? I am not 100% sure right now but I think I cloned male one to do female version and it might be needed for female one to work. I will check this personally tomorrow. I donโt forget it this time, so sorry about it ๐

I have the updated chromatic version and the hair looks fine, but when i try the eivor accessories it turns the whole sim black, red and white

Hello! You have to update is the chromatic collection to version 1.2. I had to include extra textures for this hair to work โบ๏ธ Try that and let me know if it worked. You can find the link in the hair post.

It's okay, don't worry. The update of the textures is only required for hairs that show shaved/bald scalp, for now this is the only one that needs it

my brain is fried from work and I just can't wrap my head around this... can I just keep everything as is if I skip this one new hairstyle? or will this be required for all future styles? sorry to be dumb, I just don't currently have the necessary energy to comprehend this level of cc admin work. x_x

It's okay, I should make a new post explaining everything since I did too many changes with latest hair. You have to do the following: 1. Update the base of the chromatic collection (this one contains the textures for the hairs only), because this new version includes a second set of textures without scalp, that will be used for short hairs that show the scalp. To update it, simply remove the previous file called Anto_S4Textures_Chromatic1_Base_v1.1_HQ (or nonHQ depending which one you had) and download the new one. 2.Download any hair you want, this update is required just for Eivor hair (for now). 3. If you don't want to have Eivor's hair with a bald side, download the scalp textures, as this is just optional I will make the video as you suggested, it's actually a great idea! for now I will leave you this comment meanwhile I make it hahaha

I may be alittle dumb its been a long few days and my brain is mush. Do we download the chromatic bits as a base, then scalp textures or non depending of which we want, followed by the hair you linked in the one folder bit for each hair. Again so sorry if I missed it re read your descriptions but was still unclear. I know you maybe stressed or busy but if you get chance a small video of it would be great or a step by step. If you don't get chance don't worry honestly

I'm not sure if it's me being stupid but the hair is bugging in game, it makes my entire sim (including the hair) go red and white with a ? on the skin, I can see the shape of the hair but no textures on it or any of my other items
