Nick Hairstyle (Requires The Chromatic Collection 1 v1.2)

I got requested this hair some months ago and well, here it is hahaha. Male hair was long overdue, even tho I did Eivor's hair, that one is not what I'd call daily hair ๐
For this one I made the scalp as a different item, so you can wear the hair with the previous shaved scalp or with the new one. You can also use it with other hairs that show the scalp.
It can be found in tattoos, and you can pick any colour you want from the 100 it has, so it matches all colours of the chromatic collection.
Just like with Eivor hair, don't forget to update the base textures of the chromatic collection to v1.2, if you already updated them then there's nothing to worry.

Love this! Wish there were more for Male sims!! Especially elder sims. To many fancy, hair styles.. fades, etc. Be cool if there were more alpha balding, comb overs. Cute older elders. lol

Hahaha thank you so much โฅ๏ธ Iโm sorry for filling your hard disk hahahaha. Regarding the Mac, you have two options. Using parallels or bootcamp to install windows and use that tool. Personally I think itโs just too much hassle for just reducing the files. If you want you can tell me which hairs youโd like and I Can run the tool for you and send you a link with them โบ๏ธ

omg thank you so much for that!! i was pretty sure that was the answer, and i can't even imagine all of the work that you put into each hair, i just wanted to make sure i asked in case it was possible!! i'm just addicted to cc and making all of my sims unique, so i check TSR and here daily for your hairs ๐it's worth the disk space! but thank you so much for that link!

Maybe it didn't got replaced because previous one had 1.1 on its name and this one has 1.2, so probably both files remain there. Remember, it's just the base colours, chunky bicolour roots and ombre don't need to be updated โบ๏ธ

Did you delete previous base textures? Sometimes having them twice causes that issue

I did put in the updates of the chromatics but there was an error message so i had to remove them coulden't start the game

๐ I'm wondering if you read the post hahahaha. You need to update the base textures of the chromatic collection to v1.2 because this hair that shows scalp (just like Eivor) need extra textures that weren't in previous chromatic collection. Update it and let me know if it works ๐

Hi! Sadly it's not possible as those hairs use an unique texture made for each hair. When I made the chromatic collection I tried to make a texture that is suitable for almost every straight hair so all my hairs could share it... I wish it was possible to do that with the old hairs tho. If you do not use HQ mod what I could recommend you is downloading this tool https://modthesims.info/d/620563/hq-texture-converter-version-2-4-8-3-2020.html and change them from HQ to standard, that will resize the textures of the hairs so they will require less space in disk

ok. I downloaded the chromatic1 base v1.2 nonhq. Each time I try to start the game its unable to start because the file is corrupted

is there a way to make the hairstyles that you release on TSR smaller? or is that completely out of the question because they don't require the chromatic collection? i have literally all of your hairs from TSR (old and new!!) and here and my game is starting to run slowly. i absolutely refuse to delete any of your hairstyles though. some people make them like 150 mb and as soon as i see that, i delete the download :(
