Because of that memory this work will forever be one of my favorite pieces you've ever done. Such a wildly inventive scene. Wild ideas like this are what make your creativity so great. I can't possibly imagine why Luke would want to leave 😉😹 This is such a fun idea for a scene! It's just bursting with gorgeous colours and textures and I love it! The sky is lovely with it's mix of blue and pink colours, the clouds look so fluffy and gorgeous and I really like the glassy transparency on the lollipops, you can even see the sticks in them. The main creamy surface that the characters are on looks fantastic, I really like how it ripples with lovely shiny textures and the way parts of it cling to the characters is great. Those juicy sweets with the gradient red/green and red/orange colours with their rippling surfaces and bright shine look amazing, I really love the bright white highlights that give them that shine. The orange, honey looking goop streaming all over the place looks so good too, I love the texture and how you've defined the shapes as it flows and twists, with the white edge-lighting really making it pop! I could go on and on about the background, it is just so packed full of fantastic detail, excellent work! Luke is looking great, I really like the overall lighting on him, with the light hitting him from the top left, with the stark, opposing shadows helping to define his muscles. My favourite part is that shadow running along his back, with an extra dark crease separating his oblique from his hips. His arm looks really well done too with the thin blue lighting popping well against the shadows. His overall textures, colours and lighting are terrific and I do love the way you render muscles (would be very interested in seeing you paint a muscular woman and seeing how that would turn out 😻) As for the lady, she is just wonderfully vibrant! I love pale-skinned girls and she's about as pale as you get, with the warm pink sections of her body and face contrasting so well with the pale white, as well as her cool-green hair. The hair is very cool, I like how it is really well detailed and rippling, with the shadows cutting through it and defining the strands, but at the same time it all looks like one flowing, single piece, kind of like green ice cream 😸 The white lighting on her hair is especially striking and just accentuates the overall shapes so well. With her white skin, the shadows that define her features are able to really stand out, my favourite is actually her neck with that thick shadow separating her neck and jaw, with a solidly rendered plane change. The gradient from white to pink skin looks so smooth and her pink calves and feet are beautifully rendered with gorgeous textures and light and dark contrast defines those plane changes so well. I also really like how the thick, goopy honey drapes over her body and further defines her, particularly her breast while also being a fun tease. And her face is just so good, her closed eyes and wide smile are gorgeous! Beautiful work on this piece, it is absolutely wild with all of its vibrant colours and great amount of textures! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
