I was very, very sick. Not like, deathly ill, but maybe a few levels below it. I know a few lucky bastards who only felt like they had a bad cold, or they just lost their sense of smell, not me. Covid had its way with me. I'm better now, but I still feel weird and fucked up. I just weighed myself, and it made me lose ten pounds. So, I'm either closer to looking like a femboy, or I look more like a gaunt creature of the night.
You know what though, it weirdly felt like a vacation. And that's how I know that things have to change in my life. Lately, after telling everyone I've been doing this animation junk, I think they've figured out my schedule is "flexible", and now I get asked to go do shit or go fetch shit constantly. My phone blows up so much that I get the urge to throw it across the room. During the 'vid, I was having fever nightmares about people texting me and wanting to go hang out, and me begging them to stay away because I was sick. Nightmares. Me laying in a pool of sweat with a fever and thinking "This isn't so bad, at least I've got some time and space now," has shown me that enough is enough. I mean, I got this shit from hanging out with too many people. This whole month has just been eaten away, I've been exhausted, drunk, hungover, stressed, and I got rewarded for my efforts with sickness. I'm sure it wouldn't have hit me so hard if I hadn't been so stressed.
I'm gonna learn how to put up boundaries from now on. Otherwise, I'll never get to draw.
Anyways, enough of all that whining. I still feel pretty bitter about getting sick in the first place.
I'm kinda sorta good now, and I'm trying to get warmed up again. With effort, I'll get back into my groove. I'm gonna try to finish this month out with another animation and some other stuff. And, this is the last time I'm doing another mad dash. Me and my life come first and foremost from now on. I'm not gonna let myself get dragged into other people's bullshit anymore.
Go get vaccinated and get those boosters. It's not worth it being that sick.

As someone who has done a lot of sidework for people and went under a huge mental breakdown to the point that I shattered my front car window by punching it while in the car, live for you. Unless you have kids than they come first. At the end of the day you are the one who has to deal with the stress, wear and tear of your body and mind and it takes a huge toll. Even though I was making good money with all the side work, I feel way better after shutting it down. Sure I have to watch my money a little more but being severely stressed is not worth it.
