Initially I thought of this one in manga's black & white but childhood flashbacks are in color and the fully greyscale flashback is very specific so I chose to color it. But also I really wanted to Bob Ross the table.

Did I say I might work on THLMR next and move Geod to next year to time it with Dune 2 release? That is very likely, even tho I wanted to draw more Duncan...

I am bit late! But glad to see you are still around and YES. I learned a lot of from making this. The moment I sketched out supposed remaining shots and those counted beyond 40 was when I realized that calculating and keeping everything in my head might not be the best idea after all:D

final flight, final thoughts :’( very nice light reflection, always a pleasure when you post references and multiple slides for your work, especially on this project. All the colored panels and interpretations I’ve seen up until now have the room fully lit, but this one makes the most sense and has the most effect because they’re eating dinner which usually happens when the sun goes down. I’m on the fence if this is an actual memory of Rosine’s or if it’s her dream, of what she really wanted. (Parents who actually care for her) I’m so glad Jill was there to spend time with Rosine in her short life before the fall and apostlehood. In the silence have a better dream. By the way, I am nearly finished with my screenplay for the first act of my project, I’ve decided I’d like to animate each section after I finish writing it. Rule Forever 💪🏼
