The poll has ended, and I'm pleased to announce that Dahlia Hawthorne and Lana Skye's cards will be added in v0.3! Don't panic though Regina Berry lovers, the other girls will definitely have their cards added in a future update. <3
I thought I'd also take this opportunity to talk a little about some of the stuff from v0.2 and some of the upcoming content in v0.3 and beyond. Minor spoilers ahead!
As I was working on v0.2 and choosing which music tracks to play in each scene, I realised that the first 3 AA games don't really have the range I'm looking for, and the music was quickly getting repetitive, so I opted to use some high quality fan made tracks instead. HERE is a link to the playlist which includes two of the tracks I used, and I will probably continue to use in the future.
Rosey Thorne is an OC Ace Attorney character that I'm hoping to add in v0.3. I'm currently working with a very talented artist that you might have seen around the Discord to make some sprites and models for her. I wanted to add an OC character to the game just so MM contributes SOMETHING original to AA, rather than being entirely derivative. If for whatever reason I can't get things right visually, I'll rewrite things to have someone else in the Security room (perhaps Lisa Basil or Wendy Oldbag), but hopefully it wont come to that.
Girls from future AA games will appear on the collectable posters that you can find in game. There won't be much of an explanation for this in the dialogue etc, so I hope you can suspend your disbelief enough to enjoy them!
I've commissioned 3 new OC backgrounds for v0.3, and I'm hoping they'll be ready within the next 2 weeks so I can get to work on that section of the game!
The first third of v0.3 is based around Maggey Byrde, so there should be a tasty chunk of Maggey content + her card to enjoy! ^^

The game is going to stay mostly light hearted, but there are some tense moments coming up after day 3, which should keep things interesting! I will keep your input in mind, thank you for your comment.

Maggey seems like a character that can be used for some bigger scenes... given her bad luck status. I'm hoping some characters get some bad ends/luck to break up the comedy impact but it also seems like something that would do better in the second half. I really like the overall atmosphere of the game and how it's pretty easy-going and light-hearted.. but I feel this atmosphere should be broken up with bits of heavier content for the sake of reminding you it's a porngame with quite a few shady characters. The more you stick with current gamefeel- the bigger the impact would be whenever that realization dawns for players. If there's no place for something like that- completely fine.. and if it's part of your ideas- it doesn't need to stay that way. There's plenty of ways to bring the atmosphere back up. Maya is a ball of sunshine herself so seeing her change early wouldn't be a popular thing. For all purposes- she is the main heroine.. She's titular.. If she stops being Maya- the gamestate really changes.. But there's so many other characters who can be used for the bulk of the porn content covering many scenarios and kinks- from soft - rough and happy - notso. And it's always a tense moment when you realize phoenix- you as the player-.. are skirting danger and there's something at stake besides exposing a company for something that happened in the past because Maya holds a bit of a grudge. The danger- possibility of being caught- should feel this way for the present time. I feel like phoenix at this point is mostly worried about being exposed as a pervert snooping around in the modeling room than being made to disappear or worse.. But that's all just my preference in the end.
