Hello everyone,
New intro and a laboratory level makeover is served!
This update is focused on the brand new intro to the game with visual novel elements, as well as the complete laboratory level makeover, with better assets layout and performance!

This update took me a bit longer than I expected, mostly due to the new workflow with levels. I've been researching ways to improve the performance and bring down the required hardware level.
It turned out that the lighting of the game had to be completely reworked, I'm looking to scale the project down, eventually even to run on mobile. So the new & cool features of the Engine couldn't be used. I've settled on light baking, this is not really revolutionary, but it's incredibly effective. This places some new hoops to jump through when making the level, but the payoff is worth it!
I've managed to play the game on an old laptop without a dedicated graphics card. This in combination with graphics settings it should now allow a lot more players to run it!

The development is focused to bring people what they want and need. I've had a few comments about the performance, hence the focus of the update. You 🫵 can help and shape the game!
Currently I've got a lot of second guesses towards the intro dialogue. I feel like there's some room for improvement. In general the plot needs to happen, but maybe there are ideas how to introduce the player's character more smoothly into the world of the laboratory and then get A.I.L.A. to join them later on!

Hi, terribly sorry for late response, Patreon hid the reply and I didn't see it. If you still have the issue with that you can bypass the windows smart screen by clicking the underscored text "More info" and then run anyway. The reason behind this is Windows digital signature, Microsoft makes it unreasonably hard to get it, so it's not worth the hassle.

Hi, please ensure you've got the full game after unpacking the .zip file, the folder should weigh 636MB. Check if maybe your antivirus is not overprotective. If you still have issues with playing, DM me and I'll try my best to assist your problem :)

For the moment, you can add multiple expansion/shrinking modifiers into the syringe :) I'll be reworking the UI in the future, but the amount of modifiers is not limited, even if they don't show up in the bar.

Increase the amount of expansion/shrinking of parts you can do with one syringe, and just make it take longer depending on the amount of steps, or make it a slider for the size of each part that goes from -100% to +100% on each syringe. Just a suggestion, but I'd bet people would love a slider :P Happy almost October! And well done on the game so far, can't wait to see it finished!
