I need to do it more, but one of the ways I work through them used to be drawing Kat dealing with whatever emotions I'm struggling with. It's not very effective, but I try to get everything that's bothering me out in whatever I'm doodling.Kat, out and about, but every thing bearing down on her thoughts is just overwhelming her. Lost in them, trapped, feeling near hopless for things.
All Mel wants to do is help her.

Rab, one thing I can suggest is consider getting professional help if it's possible. You always seem like a nice guy and a good human. You deserve to be happy. Find out if you can get help. We love your work and we love you. We want our friend to be well. We love your art, but we love the artist too.

That's such a super, super-cute piece. I think part of why it's so nice is that she does have someone who cares and is trying to help, even if her more energetic ways aren't always the most compatible. Something that companionship alone is worth it's weight in gold, and doubly so on cold days!
