The Outback Canyons Update Part 3 is here.
I hope you enjoy the update and thank you all so much for the support :)
You will need to create a new world. Saves created on this version and onwards will be forwards compatible with all future early access versions.
New Procedural Dungeon
There is a new dungeon in the Outback Canyons. The Tomb Ruins. This procedurally generated structure holds many dangers and treasures. Enter if you dare ;)
New Boss Battle
You can find a new boss in the Tomb Ruins. The Banshee. This ancient abomination once trapped in its sarcophagus has been uncovered by the ravages of time. It wields an ancient power once used to wreak havoc across the land.
Improved Quality of Life and Improved Linux Support with Proton
I have also made some quality of life improvements such as holding the interact key to quickly pick up items, scrolling to change hot bar slots and more.
I have also improved Linux compatibility by enabling support for Vulkan. Please see the tutorial below on how to run the game on Linux.

Stone golem will no longer pick up objects that can clip into the ground when it holds them.
Fireflies no longer spawn in volcano biome
Added new rotation keybinds
Added gunpowder barrel crafting recipe
Added data to world saves to allow for future save forwards compatibility.
Removed exclusive fullscreen from display options (way too buggy)
Improved various equipped item control hints

I'm downloading all the files and the installation process seems to work fine, but I'm not seeing the folder that contains the game launcher anywhere. Is anyone experiencing this issue?

I created a bow and arrows but I could not figure out how to get the arrows in the bow. I could hold the bow but not aim or load the bow. Any instruction?

Is there a reason you use mutiple Zips and a bat file for the installer instead of a exe installer?

Shouldn't have to. They're all installed in their own unique installation folders. You can simply choose the folder you want the 0.9.0 LayOfTheLand folder to be in, put the files there, run the installation, and you have a new version of the game that doesn't affect any previous ones.
