Development Update #27 - October 2, 2017
🕑 Added 2017-10-02 17:40:00 +0000 UTC Hey everyone!Overall the new code was a success. I can adjust everything else that's needed now that the code is in it's finalized version.
In Episode 7 our main character has finally lost his virginity, meaning there's more sex to come! The rest of the cast will catch up, and more girls are gonna get their share of the action.
With the noose tightening around the Main Character's neck, and the reveal at the end of EP7, more storytime is coming.
Another flashback to the Prophet line is due as well.
Last post I told you guys about a UI update. That will include a lot of things. Or more accurately, mostly everything.
The main menu, in-game menu, textbox, save load screens, etc.
I'll also be adding a Gallery to the game, which has been requested a few times in the past.
The way it will probably work is that you'll be able to jump directly to the erotic scenes you've already seen/unlocked. That way you don't have to save a ton of times at the good scenes.
It's also useful if you upgrade to Mad Scientist tier to get the extra scenes, you can just jump to the actions scenes without having to do a whole playthrough again.
On my side, work on Episode 8 is already going, I'll post the first preview on Wednesday.
More info will come as we get closer, as usual.

Guys. Did you start a new game from the very beginning? No save files will work, forget the old saves. A new game will work. That's option A The other one is that you are somehow missing a file. Basically unzip the extras.rpa file, then make a copy of it. Go to your Dreams of desire folder, open and there should be another folder that just reads "game". Double click that folder and paste the file in there. Should be good to go... Enjoy :)

Hi, im a little confused on how to put extras in my 1-7 episode bundle it says INSTRUCTIONS: - Unzip the 'extras.rpa' file. - Copy the 'extras.rpa' file to C:\*yourgamelocation*\DreamsOfDesireEP1-1.0-pc\game directory (Where you unzipped the main game.) - Enjoy the extra content! -------------------------------------------------------- And i just don't get it can you help me?

I just run the Episode 6 and I can cotinue the game. I hope dont crash when I start episode 7

No, it will not work like that. I'll still have to consult with my coder on the approach. The UI change in itself will not need a restart from the beginning.

I told my coder, and tomorrow I can present you with a possible fix. I see this is a problem with tracy's room in the second minigame. I'm not sure what's causing it, but the coder will know. I'll update you guys (and the game files if needed) as soon as possible.
I am encountering a similar problem. I've tried reloading the game, I've tried using previous saves, and I've even tried deleting the game and reinstalling. Nothing seems to be working so I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do at this point.
When you change the UI, will we have to start from the scratch???, or will the saves work?

OK. I think I've got it. The erotic scenes in the Gallery will be taken from the Extra Content files. You can assume that the scenes from the older versions have been viewed by the player, and trigger scenes in the new release as they occur during play.
