I’ve done 4 days of antibiotic treatment and other treatments to solve whatever is happening with my skin. The burning has stopped, the itching has reduced a lot and the rash is fading in spots. I had my dressing changed on my leg after 4 days of being wrapped, so I have a little more information on that as well.
Thank you so much for sending me well wishes, it means a lot and has helped make this less scary for me. I’ll keep you guys informed as I go, and hopefully this will make it less scary for anyone else who has the misfortune of experiencing this same health issue.

I got answers to what happened. 😁Stasis dermatitis on leg became cellulitis, which triggered an immune system over-reaction which caused Secondary Eczema over my entire torso. I’m on meds now and improving daily.
I use Sigvaris brand compression stockings. There’s a whole bunch of different compression strengths and sizes. I just get mine at a pharmacy with a Home Care section, but I had a prescription for them after getting my legs measured and looked at by a doctor to determine the level of compression I needed. Mines knee-high 232CXL 20-30mm/Hg and they have a grip band at the top. Some stores have a much larger selection than others and size/compression needs are different in everyone, so make sure you find a good fit.
Just tuned in some, but could be candidiasis (fungal), can commonly happen in intertriginous spaces (between flaps of skin).
Any chance you could link your favorite compression socks and what you like to use for leg elevation? Can't seem to find a pair of socks that feel like they're helping more than actually cutting off circulation.
