Okay so I went to an online thesaurus to find the appropriate word for that. A word that would fit with the setting of the story and I think because they are in a magic school it should be “dorm/dorms/dormitory/sleeping quarters”. So I think it should be “the other sleeping girls in the dormitory”. As dormitory can refer to multiple rooms.
