Snowstorm (2021//2018)
🕑 Added 2021-04-15 06:17:28 +0000 UTCI had quite a bit of fun (and it's also quite relaxing) remastering a piece from 2017 recently (https://www.patreon.com/posts/lotus-2021-2017-49605885), so I did this piece next as a break.
I wasn't ever quite satisfied with how I wrapped up this piece last time, especially with how the lighting on the face worked, so I gave it a quick try fixing things up. I think it turned out O.K. given the short time spent!

Thanks! It's a bit hard to revert to an old "style" per se, but thematically, I do intend to do more fantasy-style stuff in a bit.
Really like the throw back to some of your older stuff, especially thing from your book! Big fan of that style. Any chance of doing a video tutorial from that genre?
The background is so different, so much better. Really impressive.
I loved the definition of volumen that her clothes give her is amazing, and the wide space between the shoulders makes to look her more badass!!

Definitely more depth with the lighting in the 2021 version, and I feel like it gave her a slightly more melancholy feel too. Nice improvement!
