Thank you, it was a lot of frustration figuring out exactly how to compose and color the set, so I'm glad that you liked the direction! I think that's a really nice end goal, to let viewers kind of imagine their own story.

I really liked the red because it sort of gave a surreal look compared to the more grungy realistic places I usually draw. The giant snake one is probably also my favorite of the set!

i love the splash of red. it really accentuates the mood of each piece. i think the third piece is my fave. it really makes the character feel small and alone while she’s thinking with this large snake lol

I love this but I'm terrible at explaining exactly why, but I will try to do my best 😅 There's a calmness/peacefulness that I really like. My favourite is the last one where she looks up at the viewer. You do use awesome angles to frame each illustration (as you usually do), which personally inspire and motivates me to try different things. Each illustration could easily be a snapshot from a movie, and I love that. But most of all, I love the storytelling and that you get the viewer curious and ask questions. I think that the most important thing, and it's really hard to do. Well done 👏
