GUWEIZ Patreon Series EP40.3 (Process Walkthrough)

It's not quite my comfort zone in terms of the lighting, but I enjoyed the challenge to see how I could get the character, the setting, and the light to work together in a cohesive way. For less practiced types of lighting like this, I have a harder time "previewing" or forecasting the result in my mind, so references as always come in incredibly handy to help with that.

I really like this painting! It brings a lot of contrast to the usual night scenes, but also reminds that the life goes on, that monsters hasn't stopped the world and the nice things from happening. I love how calm and warm it feels!
