Progress Report #6 | Final Report

being honest. I didn't get anywhere near close to my goal by the end of this.
I kind of figured that'd be the case, but I wanted to try anyway. The stuff here is too ambitious, time consuming, and tbh difficult to complete in just a 6 week schedule. I mean, it's been longer than 6 weeks, but I was busy irl and all that. And at certain points I got a lot done outside of what was laid out in the schedule anyway.
So where does that leave us? Let's take a look at the stats.
Segment 1: 95% Complete.
Segment 2: 100% Complete.
Segment 3: 95% Complete.
Segment 4: 95% Complete.
Segment 5: 70% Complete.
Segment 6: 80% Complete.
Segment 7: 70% Complete.
Segment 8: 80% Complete.
Total Completion: 86% Complete*
I was hoping to hit at least 90, but ah well. I kinda locked in, though. I've been pretty set on rejuv work. Haven't spoken to a few people in weeks (sorry!) But I always get like this when I LOCK IN. anyways.
Back to the question: So where does this leave us?
Well... It leaves us exactly where we started lol. Working on Part 2. I knew this part was going to be a bit difficult but I had no idea it'd take this long and be this strenuous. Like, it's lowkey pushing burnout a bit, but I've been forcing myself to take breaks and the like to make sure that that doesn't happen. I still don't feel the burnout sparks yet, but I can always tell when it's trying to rear its ugly head.
In other news, on what I actually worked on in Part 2. Nothing in detail, but ooohhhhhhh man.
So much event scripting and animating and shfddsjkfhsdkjgdshgkjdsgh its' been a LOT.
I mean, I wanted v14 to -feel- special. If this version doesn't feel special, then no version will.
I wish I could show more. I wish I could speak about what im working on more.
But I am being held at gunpoint (by myself) about all of it. I think in the long run it'll be for the benefit of us all, but STILL. Oh it pains me so. It does, it does, it's true.
Maybe I could start talking about thought processes, and stuff like that? What would you guys like to hear about? What are your thoughts on Gen 9 implementation? Any crest ideas? Wait did this turn into a suggestion thread? Well, sorta i guess. I'll consider things for now...
but only for now...

Lol I commented on the wrong post so this is edited but I do want to say the levels look better with every update and I can't wait to get that deja vu feeling when I get to see the ones you showed here

Thought Ninetales could get a additional psychic type stab and the ability of drought regardless if it has the hidden ability or not. I don't know about the alolan form. Also maybe some stat buffs in all stats to spinda if you don't already have something planned for it. I don't know competitive so those probably aren't good suggestions. Thanks for all the hard work.

Crests for new underpowered gen 9 pokemon would be super cool, such as an arboliva crest which maybe boosts its bulk/healing gained off grassy terrain. Lake trio crests as well, maybe something to help further each of their original intentions (azelf as an attacker, uxie for status movie, mespirit for balanced sets/calm mind stored power sweeps?)

I'd love an adjustment to the leafeon/glaceon crests, perhaps giving an additional spdef or def buff? maybe a crest for serperior and the kanto eevees? something for noivern since it's so frail? orrrr maybe something for grafaiai? love that thing anyway!! really enjoyed seeing these progress reports! i get excited every time i think about V14 and im really looking forward to seeing what youve been cooking up :]
