*RELEASE* Booty - Shake Dance Volume 3 // NEW "Bone/joints-behaviour"
🕑 Added 2019-09-21 13:24:12 +0000 UTCThis weekend release is the "Booty - Shake Dance Volume 3". Its a bit shorter than the other two dances of this category. Neverless its pretty hot we think ;) and ooooohhh my god we love this song! this MoCap was suitable for the looping option too so it will loop automatically and you can enjoy an endless booty - shake.
Our fellow patreons know.....we are working to make the most high quality standarts possible we are able to do and nothing less. That includes the need of time in order to develop new standarts / routines and experiment with different physical options VaM is capible to.
With the target of getting our MoCaps as smooth and realsitic as possible we were experimenting this time with bone/joints behaviours and different tracker target points. So we invested some time and made an overhaul of our standart joint behaviours in our MoCaps. This might not be the biggest deal in a "booty shake dance" because the focus is very fixed as you might guess ( ;P ) but you might realise a difference like "somehow the character is more lifelike".

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Make sure you have at least 35-45 FPS in order stay synced with the audio
-->You might set the physics rate to 45FPS and /or disable the mirrow in the graphics main tab
- how to play? * freeze motion -> load scene -> defreeze motion
- Desktop user might brighten up the scene a bit

The suggested ideas are a big WIP of us. there will be mocaps like you mentioned ;) We have tried already some sessions in this style

Did you hire Shakira for this mocap? Jk ;P but i really like the hip movement and the dance. That be a girl one was really good too

I just looked at this yesterday. I really like it. I like the way she stays around the same area or distance from viewer at all times, so she is not constantly moving away and coming back all the time. If there was one thing I would do to improve it, it would be if the movement could be slowed down a bit. If you ever got a real lapdance, you would notice that they move real slow and deliberate movements, showing off the bits slowly, slowly bending, slowly grinding - they would never really do fast, jerky dance type movements. So in other words, they don't really try to keep in time with the music like a dancer, the music is just background to their own slow movements. Similar to a slow pole-dance routine.

I get that morph error as well.

1.8x is still in BETA so there might occure strange problems while loading especially due changes in the saving system ( see release details ). This case... might help to put the missing morph manually in the morph section of 1.8.0.3. Idk. We are waiting for the main release and updates for our used plugins ;) Gato

So I took a backup of VaM, walked it back to 1.17.7.1, and the MoCap loaded without difficulty. I then took that file and ported it to 1.8.0.3 and it continued to hang. Obviously a problem with 1.8x although it's the only instance I've found.

Yes, I am, and I've run VaM extensively with no other problems. The only error message I get is "could not find morph CheekBones Width Outer referenced in save file". That morph IS there, with that spelling and spacing. In any event, that morph shouldn't hold up loading.

Opens fine for me. Are you updated to the latest 18.0.3 beta build?

I can't get this file to open. It freezes while loading and I have to do a hard reset. I've had no trouble with any of your other MoCaps, and I re-downloaded it in case the file was corrupted, with the same result.
