Tejing

Yeah, digging works. Though I'm not sure why she isn't just going straight for the cathedral or the central castle. What's the point of breaching the surface anywhere else? This is clearly near the top of the danger levels she's ever willingly walked into... Sofia be crazy. Corrections: This is where we’ll find the dead god. This -> That and I’m correct, the parasites I'm -> if I'm “The water, the wind, the creaking of branches,” I hear nothing else,” branches," -> branches. as well as her olden bird recon unit olden -> old

I did. Just remember with you saying something about Moon. Moon doesn't have a face does she?

Cyclone001

The fact she was looking for the skill is obvious. The fact she's looking for dead gods was known. The fact the dead god from the ring's vision was on this moon was news to me. I mean I thought the odds were very good there could be a dead god here considering the fate of the past expeditions, but the fact it was the one from the vision I would have expected to be mentioned in the chapter where Erredis sees them off. If it was mentioned somewhere there, I missed it.

In this aspect its about setting a tether for the attack to connect to. It should also be noted that the reason why the rot works is because it devours mana, and then the material connected to it. The deep creatures aren't weak to pocket sand, shes just rule lawyering the hell out of her ability and the souls power of perception. The idea is that living things souls have the concept of dirty, so when you throw dirt onto something, despite knowing that the dirt isn't directly part of you your soul considers itself dirty as long it remains in contact with the material, therefore the soul considers the dirt to be part of it until the material is cleansed from it in some way. Therefore if you can affect the material connected to the soul you can affect the soul, if you can affect the soul then you can add an affect to the soul, if the effect is a curse which connects to the soul then you can affect the body of the creature.bits the same thing as with ghosts, if they are connected to mana then by affecting the mana you affect the ghost. Basically shes killing them by sneaking up to a sleeping creature whispering "you're dead now" and then giving them a wet willy.

There are several ways they could source black powder (not sure why it has to be black). Use a super hot angel bolt on the moon's surface then pulverize the solidified mass. Crush and burn some bones. Chop off Pareth's limbs, cover them in rot, and just throw them at the creatures. Cast Summon Blood and use rot on the blood. The Deep creatures being weak to "pocket sand" attacks is strange.

Thanks for the chapter! Are we sure Sofia is vindicated that the diggers stuck around? Or is it Mornn who feels vindicated with their Chekhov gun? Also I still really wonder what dead god it will be. While it would make sense if it was Moon, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s some lesser god that decided to indulge the Queen. Lastly, I feel like Sofia will end up going back to Cerberus one day anyway. Not sure how or when but it was doable by the admins at some point, so I can’t see why Sofia can’t either.

Sky

As mysterious than the dark side of the moon behind the moon~

Mornn

This was the vision given to her by the ring in chapter 575, it was left vague on purpose back then : 'At that moment, Sofia felt a mental pull from the ring. For the second time that day, foreign images flooded her mind. She was given a location, first from extremely far away in space, showing her the entire planet and its surroundings, then progressively getting closer image by image, ending on an image of a fallen statue blocking closed doors.'

Kennyevilmonkey

Gone, but not forgotten.

Chance Rose

No, you've talked about her looking for a dead god and the skill. I don't remember what chapter this vision she keeps referencing was in, but youve addressed why they are here several times

John Grizzly

Mb what's confusing is how she knows there is one here? Some kind of dream or something?

John Grizzly

It was mentioned but it was a bit confusing since in the chapters before coming here it was cliff hangered and only vaguely mentioned. Then it was declared in one chapter then it's been Rollercoastery since coming to the moon so if it misses some people's attention I can understand. But the lead up has always been looking for the dead god and it's been mentioned I'm pretty sure these last 3 chappies

Songy

RIP bird skeletons #12 and #47, you will be missed

Emily Gurnavage

Nah it was totally mentioned a bunch, that person just forgot or missed it somehow. She described the church/her vision of it at least twice if not three times, and has mentioned it like at least 2 other times. I can't say what chapters, but it was def mentioned a good bit.

Mornn

Pretty sure that she was searching for the dead god's been said a number of times already... Hopefully. It's getting hard to keep track of everything 600 chapters deep but still this kind of stuff I should have mentioned several time in and before this arc. You're gonna make me doubt now lol.

Mornn

She has quite a lot of them, at least, so losing a few wouldn't be too much of an issue, but yeah, they are indeed in short supply otherwise. That being said, the most important one not to lose power-wise is the fairy.

Cyclone001

Did I just miss it, or is this the first chapter that confirmd there is a dead god here? Feels like something that should have been mentiond in the chapter justifying this expedition, but I don't recall it there. More than that, I'm wondering why the monsters are so much more aggressive here. Think the flickering in/out of the light world is what triggers the memory reset and violent bahaviour the avian warned about?

Emily Gurnavage

I hope she doesn't lose the Kdijicksihickshijs, or at least not many. I don't think she can reasonably get more of those considering where they came from.

Custus

Thanks for the chapter!

Wensber
